Have had pain and symptoms for months and nothing to show for it. Of course I’m never swollen when I have an appointment, labs normal, X-ray normal, MRI normal. I’m so frustrated. My doctor is nice but my body is giving her nothing to work with here. Honestly I just feel like a crazy person, all this pain and no proof. Plan is just pain management and maybe some PT. My mental health has taken a huge dive going from super active and normal to everyday pain. It’s extra hard when some friends and people I work with act like I’m dramatic about it just because I mention it. I literally still push on and don’t try to let it affect my work which is very active, so not sure why they have to be rude to me.

I don’t write anything down so I’ll try to be quick👋
Art in the series, particularly music (diegetic and non diegetic), statues, and paintings are certainly 100% chosen for deliberate purposes. Again, not a unique observation in film media.
1 thing I just realized is the painting in season 1 episode 3, which poses a special interest to Tony that is never fully discussed. The painting in the style of David Hockney, of a splash of water in a backyard pool.
Tony points to it desperately, imploring Irina to tell him what it means to her. All she says is it reminds her of David “Hockey” but we never get insight into how Tony views it.
Maybe it’s just a coincidence, but a splash in a backyard pool holds special, harrowing significance to Tony in season 6, when he spots his son in his fateful suicide attempt.
It’s an interesting bit of foreshadowing, probably not planned in the beginning. In any case, it fits well as a source of horror. Similarly, is the barn painting with the “rotten” tree foreshadowing the rural vignette where Tony is furced to commit familial treason by murdering his cousin Tony B?

Hi everyone, I was curious what you think my current body fat percentage is.
I’ve lost 40lbs with the intent of losing my love handles, but alas the bad boys are still there. I understand they are the last thing to go 99% of the time, and that they are smaller than they used to be, but never in a million years did I think they’d be there after losing 40lbs!!
My plan is to start bulking up come December, but a small part of me is disappointed in the thought of not hitting the biggest goal I had in mind when losing weight.

2024.11.28 02:36 Fit-Ad-7477 Just watched Tusk...actually a pretty good movie
Here's my thing with body horror: I always feel extremely bad for the victim. It becomes hard for me to watch at a certain point because I can only think about how much they're suffering. Tusk was similar, and it hit all the same points, but what's unique about it is that it added a level of comedy that made the horror bearable. Johnny Depp was fucking fantastic in it, and his character brought light to what would otherwise be any run-of-the-mill body horror flick.
Body horror most often tries to explore the question of humanity. Where do we draw the line in considering someone still human once they've been so mutilated that they're unrecognizable? This movie doesn't leave a lot up for discussion, but what it does do is leave the watcher to decide on their own how Wallace should have ended up.
**SPOILERS AHEAD**
At the end of the movie, there's a moment where LaPointe considers shooting Wallace in order to put him out of his misery. Then, when he doesn't, Wallace ends up in an exotic animal sanctuary; his only company being a dirty pool and a slew of gas station plastic cups. His (former) girlfriend and best friend go to visit him, but to what end? To throw a fish at him and watch him eat it as if he were a real walrus? The only thing we're told for sure is that somewhere in there, Wallace is still somewhat human, as he cries upon watching them leave. Other than that, it's up to the viewer to form their own opinions. Should Wallace have been put in a zoo or kept somewhere more domesticated? Or should he just have been put out of his misery?
What I like about the movie is that it doesn't insist upon a certain viewpoint. It gives wiggle room to make your own sense of what happens. It's utterly disturbing and definitely has it's faults (like that suit. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry looking at it), but what it does right it does brilliantly.

 | Firstly, no hate to the people who make these mods. I just want to provide some criticism. A lot of Pibby mods are the same. Black glitchy stuff all over a popular character smiling with pupilless eyes as the opponent, and the player either be Bf scratched up or another character from the same show looking scared. You can basically see it in the thumbnail of the video. I feel like the mods are very corny, and a little cringey. It feels like “oh look, how can we make a normal tv show character scary”. It’s made worse by the fact all the opponent and player are doing is staying in one place and singing and not actually doing anything. Like what is singing supposed to do? Sometimes another character from the same show will join and or something with a terrified look, and it’s like why are you not running away? Also nobody takes shows like Family Guy or American Dad seriously. So seeing those Pibby mods try to make them deep is a bit ridiculous Another thing that bugs me is the fact that a good chunk of characters that appear in Pibby mods don’t have their own regular mod.

I have a 5 month old pomeranian, and an 7 month old border collie and I swear to everything in my body that these mf team up every day. Their teething is only done with both of my ankle(one on each) they always circle my leg when I'm walking with leash.They play very rough and love running around towards people. The smaller one figure out how to open crate and always let the other one out. I'm putting padlock on these thing right now. They know how to open door, open pantry, and the gawdamn dish washer(with the towel which i soon remove). This isn't a vent essentially, more like, questioning my life and their teenagers phase. Idk the right tag. Just want to share and when these dog will finally calm their non-existent balls down. Thanks everyone ☺️☺️
