Over a month ago I ordered my baby a bumper car. Then about 3 weeks later I ordered a bed frame. Then a week after that I ordered a mattress. I spaced out my purchases based on the money I had available on my credit card, as to not overwhelm my finances. I am used to my card being charged almost immediately, I’ve never experienced having to wait for my purchase to be charged on my card. At the very least it always shows up as a pending charge. So I don’t really worry to much about checking that the money has been removed from my account. Unfortunately this time, I get a message saying they will email me when they have an estimated delivery date. I didn’t think much of this, since never in all my many years of ordering from Amazon had I ever had to pay for my item week/months later. Until today haha.
I check my card today to see if one of my payments went through as I’d like to make another purchase. This is when I realized none of all three of those purchases I made have been charged to my card. I asked customer support and was told I won’t be charged until the item is sent. So now I have to make sure I have over 600 dollars in my account at all times because I trusted Amazon had already taken the funds and I made payments on my card based on what I had assumed was removed.
Normally if it got declined I could just go ahead and reorder, but I got three of these items on a really good sale price. Otherwise I couldn’t afford the items. So if they did get declined I’d be gutted. (Especially given the state of the bed I’m currently sleeping on 😂 my back is crippling me literally😔)so keeping the over 600 dollars for three spaced out purchases in the attempt of being financially responsible, is crucial.
I know I know, I should be more careful and mind my finances better. But like I said, this has never happened to me before. Ive been ordering from Amazon for at least ten years.
Is there anything I can do to get the ball rolling on my order that has been saying “we will email you when we have an estimated delivery date” all I really want is to be charged for my order, even a pending charge! Idc how long it takes. But to wait months to pay for an item that I ordered based on the amount of money I had at the time and then get charged for all three of those spaced out orders at once really, really, really sucks!
I also find it so strange that I won’t be charged until the item is sent, since I’ve ordered tons of things in the recent past where the money would be taken and then within a few days it’s shipped. Why can’t this be the case now? Dose anyone know what’s going on? Is this a new issue to anyone else?
I want to apologize in advance for the long post. I normally word vomit and then go back and trim things down a bit but Reddit won’t let me bring my cursor back to the top of my post to edit what I’ve already written. Sorry for saying a lot of the same thing In different words 😅

Should Recreational and medicinal use of weed be legal, if you say yes, why so, if you say no why so?
My thoughts; a study should be done by the top universities in the country, on the effects of use of weed, then based on the study, set regulations on proper consumption of the herb, the same way smoking of tobacco cigarettes is regulated.
Because it appears there is no real logical reason why the herb is illegal. Internet researchers say it was made illegal in the USA in the 1920s and every country in the world just copied the law, but there is no scientific reason why it was made illegal.
Some Rastafarians i asked said the reason is about oppression and suppression of free thought,
what do you guys think?

 | Test drove this baby in Austin, TX today. Dealer demo with none for actual sale yet. No lease info until December apparently…I asked. Initial impressions based on some of the questions in this forum. Quiet and smooth ride on this premium plus model, but both my 8 year old son and I felt motion sick after the test drive. Also, interior LED color front light bar didn’t turn on or change color, despite the salespersons attempts. You could see the light bar, it just never illuminated. Attempts at one pedal driving were unsuccessful despite a brief tinkering with settings that I fully admit I was unfamiliar with. 2024.11.28 01:20 Mishura Coming Back after a year - which mods?
So I played the game through when it first came out, and then put it on the shelf. Now with the DLC and creation kit / mods out, I'm looking for a new play-through with bells and whistles!
What mods would you recommend for the game now? I'm looking primarily at more ship parts (LOVED ship building!) and ground weapons and armor. I didnt do any base building the first time, so I'd like to do that now.
I already know the story, so I dont plan on pushing through the game as quickly this time.
