2024.11.28 02:38 SubOfReddit Server is 31 days old, new to the game. What should I prioritize?
As title suggests, new to the game and recently playing more actively.
I try to be as F2P as possible but I’m not completely opposed to spending a couple bucks here and there. My HQ is L17, my total power is a tad over 5.1M. I’m trying to max out my UR hero levels, but currently am only in the 70s. I try to get arms chests and daily task rewards every day.
I’m in a relatively inactive alliance, but I’m not sure how to find a better alliance. I’m naive when it comes to gaming; is being active on discord basically a requirement for the game?
I’m reading about Season 1 which, if I understand correctly, is still a couple months out for our server. My question is what to focus on in the meantime? HQ? Heroes? Tech research?

Not sure if this is the sort of topic that should be posted in here. But nothing ventured nothing gained.
First, my play group is rather small and we don't have huge issues. Nothing where we're yelling at each other. We actually have pretty open communication and I think our play environment is actually quite health. We have a bunch of different playstyle and games don't always go to one player or anything.
What I wanted to ask about is more personal. I'm the sort of player who loves to play with heavy amounts of synergy. All of my decks make engines that once running I'm very hard to beat unless the board gets wiped.
However, some of my favorite decks to play. My playgroup KINDA hates. The engine makes itself a little too fast I think. (Landfall Karametra being the main one) How do I approach this situation myself? Do I just bring those decks out on occasion and deal with the groans and growls? I can't really edit some of them I'd more or less have to deconstruct the deck rather then change 10-15 cards.
Any thoughts?

About a month ago, my husband and I upgraded our phones. The guy said it would be $380 a month, but we get the bill and now it’s $422. And now I’m seeing words like partial credit. Did we get lied to. I was told it would be an extra $80 a month, from $302 to $380, not $422 and now I’m concerned it’ll be even more than $422 with the words partial credit being thrown around. Ok need some advice. I have IR PCOS and type 2, I just took my week 4 2.5mg dose, and I am seeing positive results now with my sugar levels staying lower and more consistent, but the scale hasn't budged. 😢 I'm eating high protien, low carb, and very small portions cause I also had the gastric sleeve 3 years ago. If you have this combo or a similar one, when did the weight loss part take effect? I feel there has to be a difference in the timeline for results when comparing non diabetics to diabetics. Only side effects so far have been constipation. I think that's passed now I've added fiber to my regime and the food noise has dimmed. I'm staying under 75g carbs a day, hitting 100-120g protien and a max of 1200 calories. My food tracker says I'm 42% calorie deficiency and should be losing 12lbs a month...but been stuck at the same weight for 6 months now. I'll take the win on the diabetes but some weight loss would be lovely too. 💗

this is a safe post to talk about dying locs cuz i know it can be a controversial topic.
my question is how often do you guys color your locs? how many times have you bleached it and how long have you gone between bleaches? what extra products do you use to keep it healthy? and do you ever regret dying your hair?
for me i’ve bleached my locs twice and colored it 5 times (i used color oops to remove the colors) my hair is still healthy and thick and i use hair mask everytime i get fresh dye.
sometimes i do regret dying my hair i wish i could have nice long natural locs but on the other hand i absolutely love having color.
