i tried to ask this in AskMen but it got deleted so this is a serious question for me because every time i cry there’s always repercussions that come with it and what i mean is that i cried just yesterday in a long time because of a family situation that has been happening and it was just cause i felt so overwhelmed with everything and i cried alone but my sibling heard me and told my family and now people are saying the place i am staying at is not safe and how i should live with my other family members but i just wanted to cry because im tired of putting on this facade that im tougher than everything and i don’t want to bottle up my emotions no more but it just seems that what everyone wants me to do. sorry about how long this is but im tired of bottling them up for so long

Hi everyone! My boyfriend and I recently adopted a 4 month old deaf puppy named Poppy! She is the love of our lives and we’ve been teaching her ASL/ some other signs she responds to. She doesn’t have issues with other dogs, but just like any puppy, she has lots of energy and often comes off strong to other dogs (jumping, lunging, barking but with a playful attitude) and it scares them or riles them both up so it’s just a crazy environment. My boyfriend and I both grew up with dogs and I especially have experience training puppies. Obviously, when a hearing pup is too excited and displays this behavior, there’s many ways to discipline them and teach them how to behave appropriately. My question is, how do we discipline her if she can’t hear commands and is too excited to look at us for commands? We also live in an apartment complex so most of the time where she is with other dogs is when they’re both on leashes in public areas which makes it just that much harder when they both get tangled up. The reason we really started to think about this is because we’re at his mom’s house for thanksgiving and she has 2 dogs that kept giving consistent clues to Poppy that they didn’t want to play and that she was being too much and she was not taking the clues at all making all 3 pups extremely overstimulated, frustrated, and/or anxious. Any tips are appreciated!!

2024.11.28 03:50 barnabyjones1990 External SSD suddenly stopped mounting (1TB OLED)

This is more of a general steamdeck help question but this community seems to be the most responsive sub that I've seen!
I have a 2 TB external SSD that I use to back up my games and save data etc. I use it on my windows gaming laptop and steam deck. Tonight (after working fine this morning) the steam deck is refusing to mount the SSD. I can still use it fine on my Windows laptop. SteamDeck will just say "could not mount this device". I am doing all this in Desktop mode.
Any ideas for how to reset this? I already booted the BIOS and confirmed serial devices are set to xHCI and not DRD.
In Dolphin, if I try to click the external SSD I get an error message that is a bit more useful.
"An error occurred while accessing 'MY DEVICE', the system responded: The requested operation has failed: Error mounting /dev/sda1 at /run/media/deck/'MY DEVICE': wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sda1, missing codepage or helper program, or other error". I have been using this device (swapping between windows and steam deck) constantly for the last ~5 months and am confused how this could suddenly stop working (but still working fine on Windows).
Thanks in advance for any ideas to try!

The team loves him and we see how they all respect him. Even with him having them play more minutes than normal. Removing Thibs would literally be the end of this team.
I do agree it doesn’t hurt to have another set of eyes. Fresh eyes to handle adjustments and let the rookies play. Thibs is very stubborn and sticks with what he knows which is the same 6 players. You can’t win a Championship like this.
