As someone resident and employed in Germany I'm currently waiting on my submitted application for naturalization, but I realized there is a discrepancy in my submitted documents - namely my legal name in my birth certificate doesn't match my US passport and other current identity documents.
Reason being, I was born in another country but immigrated with family to the US and got naturalized there when I was a kid. My parents then changed my legal name (added a western name to my ethnic name). So while it is hopefully evident it's the same person, will this name discrepancy raise questions with the naturalization office? Anyone had experience with proving name changes?

I (24M) have been seeing (25F) for about 6 months now. We really get along and feelings have grown strong for eachother.
I have been in several short term (~6 mo) relationships throughout college and been aiming towards looking for something more serious. She has been in 2 very long term relationships over the past 6 years (1 actually having been engaged in). Her most recent relationship ended a year ago around now.
In our earlier stages (3rd or 4th date) she did say that she isn’t sure she was ready for something serious yet, but also reiterated that she feels very strongly about us and that she can see a future together. I was cool with it, and we both agreed to take things slow.
The next couple months, we started hanging out more and started doing more “couple” stuff. We were “dating” but never really put a label on it.
One weekend we hung out and did our thing, but after talking more about what we wanted it seemed like something was off. We weren’t exactly aligned on what we wanted. We really care about eachother but she just doesnt seem to be ready to take the next step, and i am.
So we talked and decided to take a break from whatever we were doing over the holidays and circle back after the new year. It wasnt easy for either of us and its certainly taking a toll on me. I think i tend to sabotage relationships in these kinda situations, but also feel like its something that needed to happen for her to decide what she wants. We very openly communicated about why we have the feelings that we do.
I have a feeling that she wants to experience “being single” and has said that over the past year she has enjoyed putting herself out there. We have been “exclusive” for about 4 months now.
Im just seeing what everyone thinks about this and whether or not i messed up by even bringing this up. Its pretty tough rn because i am making it in my brain as something i messed up, which i know is not the case.
I really see a future with this girl and want to be with her but unfortunately this feels like another right person wrong time case. I thought by now she would be ready but just seems she isn’t.
I can guess to what the responses will be but: Any advice out there?

2024.11.28 05:30 Humble_Victory_2425 The suns...are not a well coach team.
Ill start with love, I think Bud has done a better job than last year. There is more movement of the basketball on offense that showcase the strength of this team that s a Swiss Army Knife. Wherever the offense is clicking the suns are good on all three front of scoring. Also, I think we are little bit less reliant on all of the Big 3 to go nuclear, the 4th and 5th player on the rotation get a chance to shine if they're making their shots. Part of this may be because the roster has been upgrade in comparison to last year, but hey that's the game.
Now, the criticism of this year coaching come from after watching these 18 games and noticing a bunch of issues that don't look like they're being addressed. Im using the eye test here so feel free to bring stats if you think im talking out my ass. The suns defense is frustrating, sometimes it's great and sometime its crap, like lethargic, no effort, and just plain lazy. This is where the criticism come from, I think when the defense is playing great its more so the players individual talents and less so the coaching. When the defense is bad you can clearly see its a coaching problem, the suns are terrible in transition defense, pick and roll defense, boxing out defense, and what i like to call, "Anyone But Him!!" defense.
How many times our guys are not running back to have a set defense and it leads to easy points, this is even worse because it happens so many times after we score a basket. The pick and roll I cant figure out because it looks like the players don't know for sure, our centers always sags off but too many times they don't take the angle to make it effective against the ball handler, too many time the two switcher on a pick and roll get confuse and switch on the ball handler by mistake and don't even trap. Our rebound defense is spotty at best because its usually Nurk or the other center battling 3 other guys in the paint because no is being physical and putting a body on someone. More importantly its seems like the suns can't consistently stop or hinder opponent teams bread and butter. Whenever a team find a player or a scheme that works well against the suns, no matter how many timeouts and how many substitutions its like we can stop them. For example in these last 7 games, in Sacramento game was DeMare Derozan pick and roll two point shots, Franz Wagners killing us in and outside the paint, Jalen Brunson...casual step up 3's, this random guy tonight on the Brooklyn shooting light out 3's when the suns should have denied him the ball the whole second quarter and let anyone else but him score. This goes on and on, this happens in game we win and game we lose, its a constant and it doesn't seem like coaching is doing a good job to fix these issues.
The Lakers game last night was one of the few games where the suns look sharp defensively in the second half, I think that's only happen in 3 game this year. But this game against Brooklyn showed all of these cracks in the suns defense and scheme that Coach Bud has yet showed to be able to fix. There was too many mistakes even for a back to back game. This team needs to be better defensively and cant rely on its players talent to play defense and offense to outscore opponents or we will be the same team last year, a glass canon.

Yeah, it's a minor detail, but I think he don't just repair and upgrade the engine that our car has (because our car in the final chase seems faster than the prologue) before we take it back after defeating him.

Hi so,
I F19 have had stomach pain for as long as i can remember, specifically the lower stomach, I’ve went to doctor and had urine tests, blood work, ultrasound both by my primary doctor and Gynecologist and a endoscopy (only giving a complete unrelated diagnosis of allergy in my throat causing Eosinophilic esophagitis or EoE) . All showing no results and i would love any ideas of what it could be. The pain can range from light aching like being poked by a finger to so much pain i lay in bed to hopefully ease it, often lasting for days and only going away for a short amount of time. Rarely i will get stabbing pain for a few minutes like 2-5 before it goes away once i had it for a bit longer and it lingered afterwards for a few hours but seemingly there is nothing and maybe it is just in my head like they keep saying?
Any advice is welcomed.

I record/produce my podcast in Reaper. When I'm making the show, I have the Master FX & my vocal FX off so that there is no latency, etc.
I'm trying to streamline my workflow and was wondering if there was a way to automatically enable FX on render? So that I can just keep them off all the time but have them switch on when I render.
I've been manually clicking to enable them for the last 3 years so it's not the end of the world, but I figure this would be a tiny way to save some time... and avoid accidentally rendering the project without my FX on.

Today I met with a doctor to ask for a referral for an assessment for OCD (and ADHD.) I was feeling pretty anxious about the appointment, doctors make me nervous, it wasn’t my family doctor, and I was also anxious about getting a referral/ assessment because last time I had an mental health assessment it was over the phone and all that came out of was they told me I have anxiety, which I obviously know about. Anyway during my appointment today, I felt like I struggled to answer the questions about symptoms, because I worry I don’t actually have ODC (or ADHD, and I am making it all up), and I struggled to articulate and remember to list all the symptoms I do have. I also mentioned how I think about hurting people, because I was too afraid to say that I worry I am a Pdphile, especially since I work with kids/youth. I didn’t even think to say I worry I am a terrible person. TDLR: I worry I won’t get a referral for a mental health assessment, or that I skewed the referral/assessment because I struggled to articulate/list all my symptoms/concerns.
