I know this is a common problem and I am probably being dramatic. I am addicted to pornography and masturbation. I need help. I need prayers. I have tried everything. I'm sick and tired of getting better just to fall back again. Its been an infinite loop of suffering for so long. I've tried every method under the sun, including adding in time with God to fill the power vacuum left from quitting. I just want to stop. I don't even like it. I hate every minute of it. What is so messed up is that most of the time I am not even being tempted with desire for sexual gratification. I legitimately just watch it to feel the human connection most of the time. To feel like someone gives a damn about me. To feel like someone desires me. To have someone make me feel like it is going to be okay. That's a new low fr.
I know it doesn't get easier. I know that the only way to quit is to take it day by day and understand that it will always be hard. But its been so long and I am so so so tired. The longer it goes on the less hope I have that I will ever change. Quite frankly, I don't have the energy to keep trying anymore. Sometimes I want God to just kill me and take me to be with him so I don't have to endure this crap. I legitimately try so damn hard, go on a long streak, start to recover, etc. Then BAM, one bad day and its all over and its every day again and its hopeless. Im exhausted. Even on a smaller scale, like day by day, it is exhausting. I had a really bad time today. I spent the entire day fighting the devil. It wasn't just a spurt of temptation. It was legitimately the entire day somehow. I put in all that effort into resisting, only to fall right at the very end. Don't even know why I am writing this. This is such a widespread problem and there are no solutions other than to suck it up and endure. I just needed to vent ig.

Good Evening Everyone!
First off, thank you for even taking the time to read my very first reddit post ever! My name is Nicholas and I am working on a project that I believe could redefine what can games can achieve! I'm a team of one right now. I have never created a game before, but this lightbulb went off in my head and I started brainstorming, writing things down, and it kinda took on a life of its own. Honestly I'm just a guy with a dream right now, and that is on a mission to create a friendly reminder to the world with this project.
Still working on getting the PC that I need in order to even start working on it. Never even so much as touched Unreal Engine or Unity. However I have my project in a notebook filled with story driven ideas, game mechanics that have never been done before, and I was able to crack a code that no one (to my knowledge) has been able to. Which is a shame because um, well I believe a lot of people were just overthinking it. Just writing this post has me excited, and I really wish I could share what it is, but obviously when you have something you're passionate about you have to keep it close to your chest (for now). This is a huge project, and I don't know where to go, or who to trust.
That's why I'm here, seeking like minded passionate people for some advice, I would love to hear from you all, and network with this great community! I swear I feel like a shrimp in this massive game dev ocean haha. Thank you again guys and looking to hearing from you all and chatting more! :D

Discount supermarket Aldi has said it’s “open to exploring opportunities” in Northern Ireland after marking 25 years in the Republic.
The German-owned business has built up successful trading over the border and in Great Britain, but has not yet committed to opening any stores in Northern Ireland.
However, with a strong presence in the Republic of 162 stores in total, many NI residents are familiar with its offering.
Asked about any future plans north of the border, a spokesperson for the Republic operation said: “We are very proud of Aldi’s popularity among NI shoppers.
“While there are no current plans for a new store in this area, we look forward to exploring new opportunities in Northern Ireland in the future.”
Lidl, which is also owned by a German parent company, has established a successful business on both sides of the border.
In NI, it has 42 stores and recently reported record turnover for the year of £496m. It is now the fourth-biggest supermarket here, behind Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Asda.
Convenience retailers also have a strong presence in the Northern Ireland market.
Independent brands Centra, Mace and SuperValu are owned by Musgrave Group, while Spar, Eurospar and Vivoxtra are owned by Henderson Group.
Neil Johnston, chief executive of the NI Retail Consortium, said Northern Ireland’s grocery market was replete with big players.
“NI has a very strong, competitive market with Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Iceland, Co-op, M&S and Lidl all providing unique offerings.
“In addition, we have a wide range of smaller retailers supported by Hendersons and the Musgrave group.
“The intense competition between these companies ensures that consumers have a broad range of products and great value for money.
“UK food prices are amongst the lowest in Europe due to this competition. All the companies currently operating in NI have invested heavily over many years, they employ thousands of people and many of them buy millions of pounds on Northern Ireland produce to sell here, in Great Britain and the Republic.”
He said Aldi’s strong presence and distribution chain in Great Britain and the Republic could make it relatively straightforward to set up here.
“Aldi has proved themselves to be a strong player in both Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland and we would expect that they would be add to the competitive mix in Northern Ireland.”
Announcing further expansion in Co Kildare last week, Aldi said its presence in the Republic had grown from two stores in 1999 to 162 in 2024, with it investing €2bn over the period.
In September, its operation in Great Britain said it would step up expansion there after more than trebling its pre-tax profits.
Pre-tax profits for 2023 reached £536.7m, up from £152.6m in 2022. Sales at Aldi UK increased by £2.4bn to £17.9bn. In the Republic, it published its financial results this month, showing turnover growth of 3.4% to €2bn (£1.7bn). However, profits more than halved to €17.1m (£14.3m).

Looking at both wikis I don't see it anywhere, notably, it is in neither the list of obtainable or unobtainable scrolls on the bg3wiki. I'd like to get it if it does exist tho. As a side note, it does say ice knife scrolls exist but I can't find any in act 3 and I'd really like to know where I can find one as sorcerous sundries didn't have one from what I could see. With a turn of some unfortunate and annoying events, then a friendship fallout they deleted the entire thing without ever telling me. The server was creative writing based and had a lot of my own work in it! Which i like to read my work, even if it's from a while ago just to see how I improved. I started Maple right around Beta and since then, as I've gotten older, I'm more of a seasonal player now. I think a ton of us, especially those still on regular servers, are probably in this bucket. I play in short bursts for a few months then just don't open the game again till Christmas or summer. I rotate through a ton of other games - and I keep active subscriptions on several even if I don't play them for months (This is important to the point of this post).
I just came back and hit 260 and started 6th job. It's 1am and I'm looking at the Sol Erda booster. I'm at a point in my life where I wouldn't notice $30 missing, but the fact that it's twice as much as I'm "used to" for a subscription is giving me pause instead of making a mindless purchase. It doesn't come close to what I would get in other games for a monthly pass. I will probably buy it for 1 month for a boost and then never again, based on the principal of it being a terrible ROI. If the price was something like $5-$15, Nexon would earn up to $180 from me for the year. Westerners are used to paying for subscriptions between $10 and $15.
With Go West, I honestly think Nexon should come up with a $10-$15 a month subscription that features QOL stuff. An example would be:

Aside from the Sol Erda booster, none of this is "needed" but I could see myself and a lot of other daily and seasonal players buying this simply for the QOL. Price would also show good faith and western audiences are used to it. The addition of the Sol Erda booster would also keep some players subscribed even on breaks. Discount it when you buy a year, Nexon America makes money and players are a bit happier.
