If all these traffic jams are 100% stationary and combining them is exactly 400km long, and the average length of a vehicle is 6 meters, and the distance between vehicles is on average 1.5 meters, and each vehicle contains 1.2 passengers. Then these traffic jams contain approximately 56,000 workers (assuming all are workers) out of a total working population of 9.8 million citizens. So roughly 0.5% of our working population is stuck on a highway.
(In reality they are not stationary, there are trucks in between, and the number of workers in this traffic jam may be slightly lower.)
I wonder why we spent so much time and effort reporting this many times every damn day of the week. Inalso wonder what would happen to traffic if they stop these messages for one week or one month.

I wanted to share my experience and see if anyone else has gone through the same thing. I came to Canada with high hopes of continuing my career in the corporate world, but it’s been a tough journey so far.
I have a master’s degree, two bachelor’s degrees, and over 15 years of experience working at a top 5 bank in my home country. Back home, I earned a comfortable salary and held a respected position in the corporate sector.
Now that I’m here in Canada, I’ve applied to countless jobs but haven’t even been able to secure an interview. It feels like my resume isn’t even being considered. This situation has really taken a toll on my morale, and I’m starting to question whether Canada is the right place for professionals like me who want to stay in the corporate world.
It seems like most opportunities here are focused on labor or service-oriented work (e.g., Tim Hortons, Walmart), which is a significant downgrade from where I was before. Don’t get me wrong, I respect all kinds of work, but I feel disheartened because I invested so much in my education and career.
I’m starting to wonder if it’s worth staying here or if I should consider going back to my home country, where opportunities for professionals like me seem more abundant.
For those who’ve been in a similar situation: • How did you manage to transition back into the corporate/professional world in Canada? • Did you upskill, network, or take a different approach to stand out? • At what point did you decide whether to stay or go back?

So let me get this straight - Machine Herald had to go because Arcane Herald is now canon, but somehow Caitlyn got an ASU that still clings to her original high society detective design, even though she has never worn a top hat once in the show? And she still even references Corina Veraza in her voice lines.
By that logic, Arcane Caitlyn should be the new default if they are so obsessed with keeping everything canon. No to mention Arcane Brawler Vi, Arcane Singed, Arcane Jayce and Arcane Ekko. How come Jayce can still keep his technological gadgets and Viktor fans are forced to replace technology for generic magic (generic in-game, there is literally nothing original about his ability VFX).
This just shows that the decision to make Arcane the default canon was not made with any foresight. Caitlyn has received her visual update with the old canon in mind, despite the fact that Arcane was already released by then.
They do not care about lore or canon consistency, they only saw that Arcane has made money and decided to throw away almost a decade of careful world-building hundreds of talented people have poured their hearts and souls in just because they saw dollar signs. Legends of Runeterra was done especially dirty because of the main task of this game was to expand the lore and they've done a marvelous job at that.
"Do not let good storytelling get in the way of making more money" - Riot just before setting fire to the universe players grew attached to.
Viktor's ASU (because you can't even call it VGU at this point, as they gave him one, pretty insignificant and optional ability change) should've been made an OPTIONAL skin and I guarantee there would be no outrage. Sure, you may've been sad that the Machine Herald is gone from the lore but at least we would still have our techno-boy in game.
Riot never should've made Arcane canon, period.

My first bag looks good to me… how close do you think it is to fruiting?
My second bag sadly I’m seeing bits of dark green blue in various spots on it… there’s also a shit ton of yellowish fluid… is that myc metabolites?
I don’t really know why this second bag got contaminated (?) I inoculated both at the same time with my SAB, tons of ISO, etc.

2024.11.28 07:38 Smilleey_ Should I even mention my dip in grades sophomore year in Additional Information Section? I got 5 B's as well as a C but then proceeded to get straight A's in everything else. I'm concerned that this will only come off as an excuse, as my situation I wasn't even something that severe or traumatic.

Prior to entering sophomore year, my uncle was diagnosed with Guillian-Barre Syndrome, a one in 100,000 disease that rendered him unable to move, completely paralyzed unable to speak. He was hospitalized for over a year and due to how close we were in our relationship, me, along with my parents, would visit him at the hospital very often, almost everyday after school ended. Since I couldn't really do anything to help him physically, I would be his emotional support. I entertained him through singing and playing the guitar, and I prayed for him days upon days until he finally recovered 7-8 months after, which is definitely on the quicker side than how long it normally takes. Not only did it obliterate me and my family's mental state to see a family member completely alive, yet completed disabled and unable to communicate with us, but the fact that I, along with my family, took lots of time out of our daily lives to visit and support my uncle, I thought that this was a reasonable enough statement to put under the additional information.
Please correct me if I am mistaken by this. Or if it's the other way around, and it is something I should mention, please, it would be much appreciated as to how I should word it, and how long (how many words) the paragraph should be. Thanks so much yall :))
