So I discovered this game not long ago and I am currently doing my first playthrough and loving the game so far (level 37 or so, day 27)
I am doing permadeath and max difficulty because I really enjoy challenging games.
Now the problem is that since I have unlocked parkour 2, I am basically not coming even close to dying, ever. It feels like as long as I am not in a tight underground space I can always jump on or over something and be fine.
Kind of took the fun out of it a little bit honestly,I wish parkour 2 only let you jump 1 meter higher instead of 2 maybe.

Qualidade de vida em Portugal - sol maravilhoso, gastronomia fantástica, boas praias e círculo familiar.
Qualidade de vida lá fora (na minha experiência) - Estabilidade financeira, flexibilidade laboral (trabalho muito menos horas do que em Portugal e tenho grande controlo sobre a gestão do meu tempo), mais tempo livre, viajar muito mais para outros países, excelente ambiente de trabalho, diversidade cultural, amizades internacionais e globais, aprendizagem absurda (aprendes muito mais na vida a viver noutro país do que sempre no teu conforto), vida no geral muito mais calma e equilibrada, maior suporte para vida familiar com filhos (em comparação com Portugal), etc.
Na vossa opinião agora que obtiveram esta experiência, o que é “qualidade de vida” para vocês?

I'm really impressed by the amount of work this guy does on the pitch. And it's not only about the last match. He is very purposeful in attack and sometimes can also do very good job in defense. The only bad thing is that he is our ONLY hope in attack. Unfortunately, we don't create much danger in the center of on the left flank. I hope Chico stays with us because having such motivated players is very important for the team to achieve good results .

2024.11.28 08:49 callmelazarus Torn between the Fuji XT-5 and Sony A6700

As the title suggests, I am torn between these two great APS-C camera's.
I normally shoot just everyday events, street photography, and some light gig work (birthday parties, christmas cards, portraits, etc.) I don't really use/need a video recorder. I don't shoot weddings, sports, or wildlife - but hope to sometime in the unknown future.
Given this - it seems like the Fuji is the way to go as it is more photo centric. My current camera doesn't even have continous autofocus - but all the complaints about the AF keeps pushing be towards Sony... I figure if I'm going to spend this much money, I'd like to at least have confidence in the ability to get in-focus shots - mainly for the gigs that I plan to do.
Fuji wins me over with:
- viewfinder is amazing
- I like the flipout screen better on the XT-5
- I don't care that much about having 2 SD slots, but it's a nice to have
Sony wins me over with:
- I like the stock handle and ergonomics better - but absolutely hate the "viewfinder" or whatever they think they've put on this camera
- Reliable AF
- I like the smaller form factor
- If I want to start using it for video, the video features seem better
I don't care too much about the overall styling of either of the camera's - or just my camera in general (unless it looks like a big red race-car... though that could be cool too haha). I have never needed the camera to inspire me or draw me to take photos - I just like taking photos haha.

2024.11.28 08:49 TheWoIfMeister Struggling to fit in regional Australia, any advice?

I'm 28m Pom, so I'm pretty much a city boy by Australian standards and so I moved to a regional town as I married my wife who is from here, had a couple of kids and ive been here 5 or so years now and I still feel like I struggle to fit in...
I've never really had that struggle too much elsewhere, I used to live in Brisbane and had plenty of friends but since moving to regional Aus...yea its just hard...I feel I literally have no mates. I can't click with anyone, my interests are often so different and I feel most men think of me as some soft city boy who doesn't deserve respect because I know nothing of mechanics or 'how the real world works' - I pretty much heard that down the grapevine from a sort of mutual friend.
Even my hobbies I'd consider masculine in the city are just like...frowned upon here...I love boxing, grappling, lifting weights and anything fitness and anybody here just sees it as pretty boy bullshit that has no space in the real world. I've even had people shout shit at me out of cars whilst going for a run which I've never had in the city...ive even had bewildered farmers offer me a lift whilst running and I've tried explaining I'm running for fun and the fella just would get it! Lol
Anything I'm good at is just, not respected here...like I'm very computer literate and not too many people around here are and whilst they thank me for sorting whatever computer problem out its like...when I ask for help with my car as I know little to anything about mechanics its like...wow are you stupid, what do you mean you don't know where the alternator is" lol
I've tried my hardest to fit in, there are definitely things I love doing here you cant do in the city, like hunting and going paddock bashing, I've even recently started getting into cars and have bought a project commodore to do up despite knowing fuck all about cars lol
I just feel...here I just feel I'm really dumb, like I don't know how to build or do fencing or anything about stock work so I'm just some like...dumbass and it sort of hurts feeling like a dumbass all the time....sometimes, especially family, I wish I could take them to the city and just make them feel like dumbasses instead, watch them freak out at traffick lights or not know how to operate basic technology (which reminds me a bit funny - took my brother in law to the city and he'd never been on an escalator before and he must have ran up and down it like 5 times...dude was like 12 at the time lol)...and I know thats not nice thinking...its egocentric and an unproductive thought...I'm just really sick of feeling like a total dumbass!
Has anybody else gone through this, does it get better? Am I to stay feeling like a dumbass for the rest of my life?
