I recently came back to WoW after a couple of years because my life calmed down a bit to the point where I could raid again
I've been looking for raiding guilds, but they just don't seem to exist. Granted, I've been looking for weekend raiding guilds which are a more niche variety, but one that definitely existed in the past
Everyone seems to be so focused on M+ these days. Guilds seem to exist for people to have set M+ teams. I hated that I had to grind M+ to raid in the past but I still got to raid
Is raiding dead? Have all the people who played the game to raid left because they have to do M+ to raid, meaning the only people left are the people who like doing M+?

So, i'm writing a story, where The blue fairy convinces Gepetto that Pinocchio cannot be expected to look after Emma in the land without magic, and he agrees to build the wardrobe anyway, while letting Snow and Charming be told that it's got enough magic for 2 people. So, they manage to go through it, before Snow gives birth.
So, any good advice on how they can still find storybrooke, and their people, when they don't have any magic, when they don't know where their people is how to get to them, and Storybrooke is invisible. And they have no clue that the apprentice is in the world without magic.
I'm kind of torn on them meeting the apprentice, who will help them find their people, and them finding a map that will lead them to storybrooke.
But i'm open to other suggestions, as well as how Emma will break the curse.

Hello all, I am new to Kundalini and was really enjoying it and practicing daily (gaia subscription) which is where I stumbled across Katie Briggs aka "Guru Jagat" well I googled her looking for more of her videos when I went down the obvious rabbit hole about her and Yogi Bhajan and all of the events that occurred and what came to light. Now I feel kind of lost? I've don't yoga for years but just as exercise and not as a spiritual journey and I really felt like I connected with Kundalini and I feel like it was really helping with my anxiety and other issues I deal with. But now...from what I read it all seems made up? Like he took teachings from Sikhism and some real yoga and made up the rest? I feel like a fool I've been digging and digging to find the "true" origins of Kundalini and it's teachings but all I can find is that YB brought it here, twisted it, and horrible things and manipulated people and I can't in good conscious practice teachings from someone who held such disregard and selfishnessband hate in their heart. It would also feel like a slap in the face to all those women who have come forth and those who haven't been able to share their story. If anyone can share some knowledge of there is teachings of Kundalini pre-YB or if I should start looking into other yogic paths for my spiritual journey and If so, any recommendations. Sorry for the long post, kinda in my feels about it. Thank you

Just picked up this cutie today. Was labelled as wire haired by the breeders but I've been told by some people I've shown it to that he's just a short haired, I don't really mind either way I love him all the same but am curious as to what you guys reckon.

2024.11.28 09:40 WeirdoAndPen [s2 spoilers] Why I believe season 2 of arcane is not good, and pales in comparison to season 1. Please take the time to read this, as I would love to hear your thoughts.

(This post contains spoilers) Many of us are quite unhappy and disappointed with season two. I still don't understand why more people aren't talking about it, but mind you I am NOT hating on y'all. Like what you like :). Nevertheless, below are the main reasons I think that is the case. They will go from most impactful to least impactful.
Before I do, for the record, I think season one of arcane is one of the most cinematically amazing pieces of media ever. And, i think that episodes 2, 3, 4 and 7 of s2 are all good, ESPECIALLY 7.

There's too much going on. I think this is the main flaw. The 8 different plots don't all need to exist, and sad scenes often aren't as sad because we haven't had proper time to connect with the characters. For example, I feel that Isha's death, while sad as a concept, was not as sad as it should have been because of the fact that all the time we could have had to properly develop her character was used on the other plot lines. I think, personally, Isha should have died in act 3, so that we had more time to connect with her and have cooler experiences.
God damn Warwick. Completely unnecessary use of act 2 that could have instead been used to expand the perfectly good setup established in episode 4. I don't get it, they made this rly promising concept of jinx being the rebellion symbol of zaun with sevika and isha at her side, and gave us some rly lovely interactions with her and isha, and then just introduced warwick and completely ditched that setup and sevika along with it. Then, they kill off (essentially) warwick/vander two episodes later. I think we gain very little in reality from act two because of this, and it's rly only a reason for jinx to go insane again.

I have more problems with warwick, like the fact that it just doesn't sit right with me that they added Vander being conscious sometimes. His death was so meaningful and sad in season 1, so kind of bringing him back just doesn't rly sit right with me. And yes, I know it's lore, but that doesn't mean they had to add it. Overall, I just think act two should have been used differently.

Pacing. Things just happen too fast, and some things happen way too slow. For example, in episode 4, which I have mentioned before I actually rly liked, I feel like Jinx's little crisis with the voices in her head was wayyyyy too fast and rushed. And don't even get me started on act 3. If you thought they could successfully wrap up 8 different plots in three episodes, kudos to u honestly.

It's also episode spacing. I honestly think episode 7 (which is btw arguably the greatest episode in the season maybe even the whole series, I'll get to it later) should have been episode 5 and episode 6 should have been some more development for Jinx, Isha and Sevika, along with Cait (cause I feel like they made her a dictator but didn't rly show us how). Then act 3 should have instead been some good, fleshed out finale where we actually feel more sad for the characters dying, and not just cause it's sad, but because we had time to connect emotionally with them.

Black rose. Listen, I get that they are trying to set up a new series. But if they want to do that, they should either give it a bigger role in the season, or establish it in another series. I honestly wish they had just cut this from arcane and focused on what was already there. The amount of times i had to consult the internet as to what the hell black rose wanted and what they had to do with ambessa is not ok. I completely forgot about them because they only gave them one or two scenes in acts 1 and 2, and then just crammed everything into act 3. Mel being a mage, btw, rly not what I wanted to see from her this season. I was hoping she'd be her usual, politically smart self, trying to outwit her mother. But yeah, just a rly big waste of time that could have been used better.
Viktor. On paper, I really like the idea of Viktor becoming this complex villain that wants to help everyone but is damning them in the process. But act 3 made it so complicated. Every sentence that came out of his mouth felt like a riddle, and I didn't know what he wanted half the time. I also don't know why ambessa thought she'd be free from his grip but I digress.

This one isn't as big, but I still wish it was done better. Viktors ending with jayce and the stone has so many plot holes and the whole idea of Viktor giving jayce a rune as a child just leaves so many questions. Could have been fleshed out better.

Episode 7. Holy sh*t, this episode is amazing. It gave me so much hope for the season, because the music, concept, animation, voice acting, everything is so emotional and gripping. You really feel for every character, and Ekko and Powders relationship is just so beautifully written. My issue with it is that we didn't see enough of it.

Once again, this was crammed into act 3 after a wasted act 2. I do think the alternate universe should have stuck to one episode still, but Ekko's behaviour and interactions with Jinx afterwards should have been WAYYY more developed and meaningful. Again, this one isn't big, but I just would have liked to see more of this rather than warwick and black rose.

"maybe some part of my sister is still in there". This one isn't massive, it just kind of irks me. I love that we see more emotional scenes from jinx and isha and vi, but idk season one's finale showed that she chose jinx, a monumental moment. So if you come in with season 2 and warwick (again sry i rly dont like warwick) and say that maybe there's some part of powder left, it kinda makes you think "so what was the point of season one then". But I'm not saying it shouldn't exist, I'm just saying maybe they could have done it through isha more instead of warwick and way more slowly. Again, could have made a better finale.
Shield guy. This one is pretty small, I just don't understand why they introduced this super cool character in episode one, then totally forgot about him, giving him only a few more lines and some small action. He could have been an amazing character had they given him a bigger role, and if he barely does anything, why make him a character in the first place? this one could just be me, but yeah.

There could be some stuff I missed out but these are the main points. Please please please let me know if you agree with something, or if you disagree. Again, I'm not hating on anyone's opinion, I just wanted to express why I think s2 is disappointing. Thanks!
