Boas pessoal,
Tomo muitos cafés e queria diminuir o preço que gasto nestes. Normalmente tomo "café no café" e apercebi-me que ao preço que está se mudar para cápsulas poupo à volta de 2/3 do valor.
Mas tenho um problema, não sei qual é o equivalente em termos de quantidade cafeína entre um típico café português e as cápsulas. A confusão é ainda pior porque o número da cápsula está relacionado com a "intensidade" que não é exatamente proporcional à "quantidade de cafeína" na cápsula.
Se alguém que conseguir ajudar agradecia!😅
PS: Estou a pensar comprar cápsulas da Bicafé. Do que vi parecem ser as mais baratas.

My country only sells 2 brands of cottage cheese, and both are incredibly difficult to find/buy. My cottage cheese recipe is 1L milk, 1.5g salt, and 28g vinegar. I heat the milk and salt to 80C on medium low, add vinegar, gently stir for 2 min, turn heat off and put the lid on, wait 20min, and strain the whey for ~30% yield. It always turns out fine to use on its own, but I wanted to try out a high protein mac and cheese recipe so I blended it until it looked smooth, but when you go and taste it, it leaves a grainy texture on your tongue. It got worse when I heated it gently to form my sauce (60C) and it completely split. It seems like store bought cottage cheese like Daisy doesn’t have this issue. What am I doing wrong, or what do I need to add?
I tried again, this time adding 2 slices of cheddar and 15g sodium citrate to it (another sub recommended the addition of sodium citrate for a smooth and creamy cottage cheese sauce) but this failed as well. People have been commenting that blended storebought cottage cheese becomes as smooth as sour cream, although a little on the watery side. Some have said it becomes like greek yogurt. This hasn’t been the case for my homemade cottage cheese - it’ll look smooth, but is always grainy no matter how much I blend it. I’ve tried my food processor, Ninja blender, and an immersion blender. Why is this?

Today I lost not only my cat, but my best friend, my buddy boy, my child.
Even though he was vaccinated against it everything, I always thought he had FIV when we got him because his eye weeped, he sneezed occasionally and he had a sensitive stomach. He even got an in-house test at the first vet we went to and it came back positive.
So I never let him outside. Ever. We then moved houses last year, and have a really nice big backyard. I was desperate to let him out. But I never did. If he ever stuck out (which he would do occasionally) I would absolutely freak out and go to get him.
A few months ago, I spoke to my new vet and she suggested I get a PCR test for FIV, because a lot of the time the in-house tests can be a false negative and I desperately wanted him to be able to enjoy life outside in the back yard.
The test came back negative, I was so happy and left so good that I could give into my little boys wishes. I even kept the test results on my work desk.
Last Thursday, he came inside not looking well. My husband took him because I was in shock and have a baby to look after. My husband called me on the way home from the vet and said “don’t freak out, but they think he might have been hit by a car”. This was my greatest fear. That something would happen to him outside.
After 5 days travelling a long way to see specialist vets, a lot of money, time and trying to parent a baby and an 8 year old stepson, and trying to run the family business, I just wanted answers as to why my boy wasn’t getting better.
Turns out he had some sort of underlying immune disease (they think) and he was becoming anaemic. We had to make the call to put him to sleep lastnight.
I have never known pain and suffering like this. Thinking this is my fault. I should have trusted my anxiety and never let him outside. How do I live with this? Does it get any easier?
