I wanted to see people's opinions on Going to see tribute and cover bands instead of the real thing.
Personal, I think it is a great way to socialise locally and support fellow fans, but also a good way to listen to bands live and get a mini concert experience who don't play in your country anymore (S.O.A.D only play American) or if you simply have not got the money, especially whit ticket prices Not to mention the band that broke up or a member passes away.
As someone with little to no money, it has been the only way to experience metal live, and a few of the covers I have been to have are amazing, and the pits can be Farley solid.

I have a very wide music taste and I listen to everything and anything, my fav bands/artists are slipknot, Mumford & sons, metro boomin, Frank Sinatra, John Williams, Hanz Zimmer and many many more. I also game (Ps5, Xbox, PC) so we can play something hopefully!!
I’m a very outgoing person who loves to chat, have fun and chill, so if we ever move to discord we can text/call and have fun, maybe even drink and game together, fun stuff ya know.

Me 25M & my sister 21F have gone through a lot of abuse during childhood. But we suffered separately & reacted differently to the abuse. We never saw each other as emotional support as kids.
I, due to the influence of internet, kept myself updated with everything. As we grew up poor, I always wanted to get out of it. I see both genders as equal & believe in financial independence irrespective of gender. So this is what I expected my sister to be doing(strive to become independent).
The twist is that she struggled with studies & now doubling down on the old traditional ways. She thinks we'll get her married to someone & she can depend on her husband.
The problem is we have zero inheritance & I'm slowly coming out of the financial mess my parents created due to their bad financial decisions. Now both parents act like they're responsible to get us married, but take zero financial accountability. They think I'll take care of the finances somehow.
But I'm totally against it. I don't want to hinder my personal growth by getting into loans all over again.
I've tried a lot to discuss with my sister. But I think there's a huge gap in how both of us see the world. She was provided best things at every point compared to me. So she somehow believes that life will always give her the best without her trying.
What do I do? I don't want her to end up in a abusive house & then depend on her partner or me.

Leonard Price reeled back in unbridled terror at the sight of the thing standing in his bedroom doorway. It shambled toward him on wobbling legs in the dark. Its naked feet slapped and dragged along the floor. Thick globs of putrescent flesh dripped from naked cheekbones like pancake batter. The entire room reeked of the malodorous scent of decay. The thing hissed and wheezed; the unnatural noise sounded something like a voice saying, "Piecemeal!"
Leonard's mind was swimming; he couldn't focus on anything but the terror that was before his eyes—this thing that shouldn't be. If his mind had not been dizzy with madness, perhaps he would have remembered how a few days ago he stumbled into that abandoned graveyard by sheer happenstance. If he could focus on anything but the approaching horror, he might have correlated this thing's presence to the leather pouch and gold coins he found there. He would have better understood the message inscribed into the leather pouch: The Price is Paid. Gold for flesh. Piecemeal.
How could Leonard have known what that meant? Things had been so hard on him. He was tired of always being broke. Who wouldn't have done exactly as he did if they were in the same situation?
But Leonard thought nothing of that. His shattered mind could only concentrate on what was in front of him. He wanted to run, but his muscles and bones were like jelly. He wanted to scream but only choked and sobbed.
Now the thing was right in front of him, reaching for him; it grabbed him by the arm. Leonard tried to pull away, but it held onto him with an unnatural strength and pulled his arm closer to its rotted face. It opened its mouth wide and bit down. It tore through flesh and bone. Leonard found his voice at once and cried out. The thing looked at him and seemed to smile. It made another hissing, wheezing noise. "Piecemeal!" Then, as quickly as it all occurred, the thing was gone. Only the faint smell of rotting flesh remained.
The room started to spin, and Leonard broke out in a cold sweat. He was in shock, but he was alive. The thing, whatever it was, bit off his pinky. Only his pinky. Leonard erupted with insane laughter.
As Leonard lay on the floor, bleeding, that word kept repeating in his head. Piecemeal. Then he thought about the graveyard, the coins, and the cryptic message. Leonard held his injured hand close to his body, and his laughter transitioned into a scream. In that moment, he knew it would return. It would return, and keep returning, and it would devour him, one piece at a time.

Hi all,
After nearly 25 years of non stop burnouts and meltdowns with no satisfactory explanation (except i've pretty much known I'm autistic for the past 10 years) and not being believed by pretty much anyone since I'm pretty good at masking in short bursts, I finally got taken seriously and got diagnosed. Due the trauma of all that and horrible parents I've become extremely evil. Well that all changes now! No longer will I try to make eyecontact properly and fail! No longer will I participate in small talk! No longer will I allow people to try and include me in their groups because they somehow perceive me as being shy and/or lonely! No longer will I let anyone tell me it isn't good for me to not see people for 2 weeks to a month because I generally don't feel lonely! I will now purposefully ignore and/or berate anyone who tries to make me conform to their mysterious NT ways!
Wait... guess I'm turning even more evil 😈

Have you ever notice people that walk past by you and you smell them . Good or bad. But I just get disgusted when someone smells funky. Like one time this one guy kept passing next to me and I wasn't sure if it was him or not. I said it out loud "bro what is that smell" a lady heard me say that and said she thinks is that one guy that kept passing next to us, each time he needed to take the cage. I casually just went to him and talk just to see if it was him . As soon as I got infront of him I could immediately smell him. I'm not rude or anything but I just couldn't hide my face expression. He saw me and got embarrassed and I felt bad and guilty SMH

This happened twice, and I got the impression that I might be bothering her, so I went out with another girl who has a much more direct approach.
My question is, what kind of thought process did this first girl likely have? Was she perhaps testing my interest, shy because someone told me she liked me, or simply not interested? I prefer in-person communication, so I text a bit less and more directly compared to my friends. Could my shorter, more direct messages have been interpreted as a lack of interest? Hi, I'm a student who did a three-year degree in statistics in Bologna, I then did a year of Computer Science (but I realized that I didn't like the idea of being a software engineer too much), and now I'll perhaps finish my master's degree in statistics. Let's say that my focus would be to produce mathematical/statistical models to better understand natural phenomena, or to make predictions, so it would be ideal for me to do a PhD in applied mathematics (in which I perhaps also do new subjects that are more interesting than a PhD in statistics which is very niche and maybe not too focused on these things). I wanted to ask you if I can do it in your opinion or do I have to integrate some mathematics credits to be able to do it? Maybe I'll enroll in the three-year course in Math to get some credits?
