I really wish this game would borrow Into the Radius’ gun cleaning mechanics. Something about coming home and giving your guns a nice clean always felt satisfying and made me feel more attached to my guns.
Maybe you could still repair at a vendor if you wanna be quick about it which would make the high cost make more sense maybe. And we could find cleaning products out exploring which would help add to the loot pool too!

Hii everybody 😊 just over a month ago, i made a VERY short stopmotion clip that I'm pretty proud of and Id love to upload it to youtube. i debated just posting it on my normal google account, but ive put some thought into it and Id like to try start up a channel where i maybe keep up with making these stopmotion films and maybe put film reviews/analysis up from time to time
its something id love to be committed to, and i dont think i want to start off too seriously- genuinely just take my time and post whenever i make something im proud of
i guess my main question is very much related to the content of this stop-mo film. i used a few star wars action figures, the 'dialogue' (mostly grunting 😂) is done by me, but my main concern is i used a bit from the Cantina Band theme. the whole clip is 20 seconds long, and the theme plays for not even half of that, and is broken up into two separate pieces. I was wondering how that plays into copyright etc, would i get claimed or striked? i dont really intend on making money off of it, i made the clip to teach myself how to make a stop-mo film and brushup on editing skills.
im aware there are loops like 'fair use' and especially when it comes to education purposes, things can be quite lenient
Would it be okay to post the clip to youtube? im thinking of re-editing the clip with text at the start declaring i dont own the characters and music, doing it for education purposes and whatnot -do i need anything else? could i get away with not needing/doing that at all? is putting it in the description alone enough? i dont really want to put something like that on the front of the video. Im also aware that the clip itself is quite short so i may not get into much trouble at all, in which case, what's the limit for when things do start to flag up?

Recently, I joined a company where there has been no documentation in apis since last 3 years. So, I have been assigned that task but the condition is it should be done in my free time where working hours is from 10-6. And, the codebase is large. Meanwhile, I am also assigned with other tasks. So, I want to know that after working from 10-6 which employee will give his/her free time for documenting the api. Hence, documentation in general should be a task to be done in working hours instead of alloting that to be done in employees' free time.
Am I wrong or right?

Hello! Long time lurker, first time poster. I've been digging and looking into a 7900 and 7900gre as a possible combo since the 7800x3d has skyrocketed in price in the past few months. I'dd try to fit everything else around the 7900gre and since I haven't upgraded in so long, I'd like to keep it as future proof as possible and avoid switching out parts for a long time. I wanted to put this out there because this game has weird issues with controllers, and Steam Deck is a whole other beast. If you try to search how to get the controller to work in this game on Steam deck, you'll get a bunch of different over complicated answers. A lot of stuff about downloading Xbox 360 controller drivers, using a community made controller configuration, etc. You don't actually need to do any of that crap.
Normally when you launch this game on Deck, the option in the options menu to use a controller is grayed out and you can't access it. But, when you launch the game under Proton 8.0-5 and Disable Steam Input In the game's properties (before you launch the game) it'll detect the steam's buttons as a 360 controller. You still need to go into the options menu and enable the controller, but after you do that it runs flawlessly. might have to use a controller setup to access that, and I think you also need to start the game too since there's no options menu on the main menu.
It really sucks that this one issue isn't talked about more, especially since the fix is pretty simple. I spent like 2 hours a couple of days ago researching and only found the proton 8.0-5 thing on a Reddit post. This game is a dream on Deck once you get over this.
Also another thing, If you want the DLC for this, the only way to buy it still is to purchase the Dead Rising 2 complete pack on humble bundle. If you claim the keys, all the DLC will function correctly.
