2024.11.28 12:50 whatislifesad Item ordered was in stock and now isn’t - what are my rights?
I ordered an item recently online on the 21st of November that says it’s in stock (and still does now) delivery timeframe was 7-10 days. I received an Email last night to say the item is now out of stock and the delivery timeframe is 11th of December for them to get it in stock at the earliest. I’ve requested a refund and they got back to me to ask certain questions to see if they could find an alternative that is in stock but I’ve said I’d just like a refund as I want the specific original item and it is in stock in other places.
Their website doesn’t say anything about refunds if an item is out of stock only that you have 14 days from delivery of an item to return it for a full refund. I’m in England and the shop is UK (England) based.
What are my rights here? Should they just give me a refund or do I have to accept an alternative?

I just purchased a 4Tb hdd and ran a HDTunePro error test. It had 1 damaged sector and i’m currently trying to fix it via chkdsk in Command Prompt. Should I return the hdd and ask for a different one or is it okay?

I’ve had this piercing for about 2 months now. This swelling here just popped up, however the piercing area is not swollen or anything. It is this swelling here. It is throbbing, itchy, does feel hot. Is this by any chance an abscess of pus what? Should I remove it?
I wash it morning and evening with saline water and use those packaged dry wipes to clean the area. This just happened within the span of two days.
Also don’t mind the other piercing. A bump had appeared, but it’s drying out… Should I be worried about that? It doesn’t hurt whatsoever.

Well I check their accounts and Lately noticed there is no penalty against them like a day or 3 day ban (tomato gg)
