2024.11.28 14:33 6ITCH6ITCH6ITCH I dodged a game yesterday morning, a game last night, and my first game this morning. locked out for 12 hours.
I get why dodging timers exist and why dodging shouldn't really be a normal thing but this is so disappointing. I only have so much time to play.
it's hard for me to justify being locked out of a video game for twelve fucking hours. I can't think of another game that would penalize you with 6 minutes, 30 minutes then 12 HOUR increments? for dodging 3 times within a 24 hour period?
first queue yesterday morning, i had to dodge. champ select vibes were disgusting from jump, and i would've rather just not deal with a potential loss before the game even begins. not a huge deal, i can wait.
second dodge happened way later, same story. decided to dodge and stop playing for the night.
this morning, queue up. this is the most fucking infuriating part. i queue support/mid, so i can almost guarantee support. somehow get mid. i get asked to switch to top and i say "sorry no i play support, got autofilled, dont want to play top" autofilled top laner then bans my highlighted pick and holds champ select hostage because i didnt want to fucking play top lane. so naturally, i dodge and get hit with fucking twelve hours of no gaming with literally the only video game i play on thanksgiving morning.
pointless ranting? absolutely. i can't see how reducing the 3rd tier of dodges to something like 2 hours or fuck, even 6 hours is more reasonable than 12.

I want to make this post to express how some Lizzie stans feel, or at least how I feel. Yes I know this sub is not anything Lizzie related friendly. But it's named BoysOfTommen, not EveryOtherStansbuLizzies so here we go. There are many things about Lizzie that people don't wanna understand and sincerely we don't care, that’s ok. We're not kids we don't all have to love same things /characters or whatever. It was never about Lizzie not being loved, us loving her character is enough. It's the fact that Lizzie haters are questioning everything she does even the moment when she's just doing nothing wrong that is our problem. People trying to vilify her in every corner. Just like how every stans feel about people talking about their faves being villainized truly. And this sub is just a living proof of this love to hate Lizzie energy. I joined this because I thought it would be a safe place to share about the series and have mature debate/discussion about ALL characters, but the longer I'm here the more I see this is more of a lizzie antis group, not in a way that always talks about her but in the sense of not being capable to hold that neutrality’ about the characters when she’s in the topic, or the maturity to talk about what may be a theory about her. It's great if people in this sub wanna point out how bad some lizzie stans out there are, because yes there are people that are really vile, or also what Lizzie did wrong, yes she was wrong at times. But I don't know why it's only ever Lizzie stans that are pointed out here. Some Katie stans, Gibsie stans, JoeyAoife stans, or simply just boys of Tommen readers were saying the most vile things but never made it to this group. Even if I'm 100% sure many of the members here saw them (because sometimes the comments some are posting here are literally under the posts or in the same comments section) Or they make it to the group because some Lizzie stans bring it up, but others don’t even talk about it or in the comments again pointing out how Lizzie stans are worse. And if some here have something bad to say about other group of stans it seems like a ritual to have a little thing about Lizzie or Lizzie stans attached to it, to indirectly prove like yeah they are bad but don’t lose sight on how bad Lizzie stans are. Sometimes I think those people are afraid to speak their truth here because they also know they will not be rightfully listened to if they are only talking about something bad about the others. Before someone comes for me in the comment and tell me other topics are talked here. Yes I'm not denying that. I see many various topics, and it's actually nice to read it when someone send it here. But now I'm talking about the constant vilification of Lizzie and her stans in this sub. People here are not as rude as the ones on X or TikTok I can give them that but it's still not a safe place for the chill and nicest Lizzie stans. But also to not forget some people are friends with some of the worst lizzie antis out there, never calling their friends out and participate too but come here and play moral advocates. Again I’m not saying this to say Lizzie stans are angels, I’m just pointing out how it goes both ways but only one part is called bullies, evils in this fandom. I’m not everyone in this subreddit are like that too, just how many there are.
I'm not complaining, because seriously guys you do you. I also do me. It's just hilarious sometimes when I see in the comments some people say ‘here is a safe space because we're all mature, we can talk about anything without cursing each other' but sometimes I don't see that maturity on this sub. So do whatever you want from that information. I just needed that out because I despise hypocrisy. And at the end of the day, yall here are strangers to me. But it's tiring to see notifications about what Lizzie stans did again, then scroll on twitter, Instagram, TikTok, even Pinterest (such a peaceful app, imagine that) and see many Lizzie antis starting fights when there is no fight at all in the og's posts.

At the start i was aiming mostly enterprise and big companies but with not much luck, i guess it's because for now i'm too small. So for now, i want to target the SMBs.
