I'm not agree with God being evil at all, but I'm not agree with his perfection, either.
God passed from "Fear my anger, cause I'm your God" to "Have no fear, under my care, and with a bit of faith, you will find peace." So, yes, to me, there's a character grown.

This is an extract from a horror short story called The 22° Angel. Let me what you think.
Now, the bridge had been under construction for three years – well four years, since the idea was brought to life two months before lockdown. It was lit up on its own; emitting a kaleidoscope of colours. These blue and green and purple apparitions lit up the night. The bridge itself was steady and well-built despite Rachael’s doubts. She walked across this bridge a couple of times before and swore she could hear the creeks of the anchors. She stared down the motionless river and instinctively clutched her purse. A thought popped into Rachael’s mind, something about drowning in it, and she immediately dismissed it.
Behind the main format of the bridge was a hill and a meadow. It was first intended to be a secluded golf course, though that got scrapped who knows how long ago. A miniature construction site was next to the peak of the hill. There was a shortcut which was closed off by the site; a beaten, old path through the woods that led to the hill. Instead, she took the gates. She had to walk through a neighbourhood she never knew the name of to do that. It was most likely the easiest thing she did that time. She reached the corroded gates.
The canal had been too dark to see, but here, the meadow was practically pitch black. So dark, the abyss itself looked tangible. Rachael questioned if she had to do this; she’d never completely gotten over her fear of the dark. Mustering up what was left of her courage, she knew this was the only way back home. There was no turning back from there. And so, she opened the gates, which let out a squeaky, metallic shriek, and headed into the field.
The sky was a black canvas with a hint of bloody red. It and earth fused to a nightmarish hellscape, and all the earthy colours the meadow had were vacuumed in the endless void. And the pale moon was set on high and at its fullest, and it had a haunting beauty that Rachael could not ignore. She watched it hung in the night sky bold and lurid. No shining star to compete against, nor heavenly body to outshine. Only it

2024.11.28 12:40 Puzzleheaded_Ad5128 Season 4 of B90 is the best season of the entire 90D franchise.

Doing a rewatch to reminisce on what we had, and man, this season was great and absolutely hilarious. I was so invested in all of the drama. All of the couples are unforgettable dumpster fires.
Darcy and James Bond; Erika and Fart Jar Girl; 👁️👁️ and Avery; Humpty Dumpty and Queen Rosemarie; Baby Girl Lisa/Baby Love 1 and Soja Boy/Baby Love 2; Varya, Geoffrey “Predator” Paschel, and Pick-Me Girl; Mmmm David and $vetLana; Yolanda (the older relative of Tyray from B90S6) and Weeyums (from the UK and definitely not Nigeria). They all kept me completely engaged and entertained.
Usman is the most unintentionally funny cast member. I would also argue the Weeble Wobble showering with Rose’s dad is the funniest scene of the franchise. I cried from laughing so hard. PrEd slathering that greasy, stringy Severus Snape wig he got from Wish with mayo; Ash’s sexist seminar; and Lana’s unbelievable reveal are also iconic moments. Just pure 90D gold. I feel things started to go downhill after this season. It’ll never be the same 🥺

2024.11.28 12:40 xmvkhp Should I start League?

I am a long time Dota 2 player with thousands of hours, and I reached the Immortal rank a few months ago. Since then I kinda lost my motivation to play Dota, and I don't wanna rank up more only to have to play the Immortal Draft mode, which is an absolute abomination of matchmaking. So I decided to try League and wanted to ask some questions.

One of the reasons I haven't tried League before is that I didn't want to learn another MOBA after already having invested thousands of hours into Dota. Dota is a very complex game, and devs keep further bloating it by introducing unnecessary mechanics every year, instead of balancing what they already have. However, I keep hearing that League is easier than Dota, but how true is that? Will I have to spend another 500-1000 hours to get to at least somewhat decent level?
Dota nowadays is very team oriented, and solo carrying 1vs5 with your individual skill is near impossible, unless you are smurfing. How is League in that regard? Do you also have to heavily rely on teammates, or is solo carrying possible?
I saw a lot of players coming to Dota from League because of a new anticheat software that you have to install to play League. Is it true that it's actually some chinese spyware or something?
And finally, could you recommend some flashy and mechanically challenging heroes (I think they are called champions in League?) for me? My favorites in Dota are Invoker, Tinker, Storm Spirit, Ember Spirit, Shadow Fiend, and Queen of Pain.
