PC Gamer is part of Future plc, an international media group and leading digital publisher. imo it's a very nice option for a gaming laptop. first thing I'd do, is try to hit +2500mhz on that gpu with a custom voltage curve in afterburner. acccording to tpu, the base 50w/1750w version of this card is as powerful as a gtx1070, the 105w/2350mhz should be a lot better. and it has dlss2 and dlss3 if the card struggles. Has anyone else had problems with their gaming laptop battery? Mine used to last a decent amount of time, but now it barely lasts an hour, even when I'm not playing games. Sometimes the battery percentage just drops suddenly, and the laptop even shuts down when it says there’s still 20% left.

peeped the curriculum and saw that i'll have computer programming and stuff as a my subjs so i was wondering if i should opt for a tablet or laptop
im a working student so i spend a lot of time in the office so im hesitant on getting a gaming laptop since i heard it could be heavy and a tablet seems lighter in comparison.
what would u guys recommend?

Thankful for my family, this whiskey, this watch (despite its pain in the ass existence of being fast by a lot when it wants to be fast. Thankful for this sub seeing many men much like me. Alright, here's idea list #5273831
- x2 power-up: When picked up, doubles all points obtained for a few seconds.
- Extra ball: When picked up, spawns a second ball. While having 2 balls, losing one of them will not trigger BSOD.
- Gold button: During gameplay, one of the blue buttons turns gold temporarily, netting 3x more points than normal (can also happen to the launcher, Dog and the arrows)
- PB95 Bonus mode: Chaining PB and 95 quickly will activate Bonus mode, turning all blue buttons to gold temporarily (this also includes launcher, Dog and the arrows)

 | Pics 1 and 2 are how it looks now; pic 3 is how it looked about two months ago. Pic 4 is one of my cane begonias, which is doing so much better than this one! This plant has been slowly losing growth over the past couple of months. There were a few rhizomes in the pot (I think?) -- two of them have died off entirely. Does this mean that the plant is in decline? If so, how can I save it? I replaced the substrate with a better draining mix a few weeks ago, but I haven't seen much improvement. New growth is very slow. Any advice is appreciated, I typically keep succulents but I'm really fascinated by begonias and want to build up a collection of them, too. 2024.11.28 13:30 Any-Suit-4117 Foot injury = home all week
I have had a foot injury all week so have been in bed wfh majority of the week. My partner keeps wondering how I haven’t got cabin fever and all I can think is how nice it is not feeling bad for just staying home. It’s actually been great. I’ve always been a homebody, he’s the opposite.
However does anyone else get this guilt for not going out if they stay home all day?

2024.11.28 13:30 yzqx DS918+ won't turn on at all
My DS918+ was chugging along this morning, nothing out of ordinary when all of a sudden it shut off. Since then, I haven't been able to turn it back on. Here are some things I tried:
- Pushing the power button one time: this causes the power button to flash a blue light just one time. The green status LED also flashes green just one time brightly followed by very rapid and faint blinking for about 1-2 seconds. Nothing happens afterwards.
- Holding the power button for more than 20 seconds: same as the above within one second of holding the button. Nothing else seems to happen after holding the button for 20-30 seconds.
- Removed all the hard drives and pushed the power button: same as above
- Inspected the power supply brick of the DS918+: the green LED on the power supply brick is a solid green color. It looks like the power supply brick is OK.
- Disconnected the power supply, pushed the power button to discharge the NAS, and waited for a few minutes before reconnecting the power: no change.
