2024.11.28 14:44 Standard_Quit_2706 I want to upgrade my PC
I have: Ryzen 5 3600, RTX 3060ti, 32GB DDR4 RAM, AsRock B450 Pro
Im thinking about getting a whole new pc. What do you think about: Ryzen 5 9600X, AMD RX 7800X, 32GB DDR5, 1TB M.2 and a board that fits?
Especially I’m not sure with GPU and CPU. RX cards are cheaper than comparable RTX cards. While I’d love to have DLSS, FSR seems to be kinda good too. The 4060ti doesn’t seem to be a big upgrade compared to my 3060ti and the 4070S is much more expensive. So the RX 7800X felt like a decent card for the money.
For the CPU, I’d love to get the 7800X3D but it’s too expensive. The 7600X3D came with the 9600X but Benchmarks are saying that the 9600X is a little faster. I see that people in this sub are always suggesting 3XD cards, where exactly is the difference? And what’s about the 5800X3D? A little older and slower in general but I see a lot of people that love that CPU..

2024.11.28 14:44 Pesegato [SPOILER] I've finally finished all the endings on Recitativo di Fantasia. Still have questions about this mode and the story
After completing all the endings, what I got is:
The "RDF story" is about the Commandant, Selena and Ishmael/Merciful One:
Selena has written an half finished story and put it on Hamlet "Hamlet story".
Commandant experience "Hamlet story" multiple times to sync the (corrupted) mind beacon and locate Selena. At the end manages to do that, but I guess the finding is inconsequential because Selena is still MIA.
Ishmael has saved Selena and tinkered with "Hamlet story".
The "Hamlet story" is about a dragon (punishing virus/red tide where Selena has been immersed), a champion (Commandant), and a piper (Selena);
Now, the questions:
1) where to get the story items and where to use them? Most of the times, some dialogue is locked because I don't have the item.
2) maybe I'm missing something, but besides what I said above the story seems mostly unconnected with the game. Just some random fantasy tale?
3) Dragon following the piper = Selena immersed on the red tide?
4) Why did Ishmael tinker with the Hamlet?
5) Did I miss anything else?

Hi! Perhaps a weird request, but I'm at my wits end.
Ever since I was around 15-ish (which is when I hit puberty), I've had a strange section on my shouldeneck. It's located a bit below the base of my neck, slightly towards the shoulder, and covers an area of around 5 cm in diameter. Around where you'd have the tag of a t-shirt touch (which sucks for me).
The skin feels intensely sensitive, pretty similar to how it feels to have a friction burn or something like that, but slightly dulled. It's not painful, but I did think it was when it first started. Below the skin, in what seems like the muscle, I get a very pointed, sharp pain, almost like what a tattoo needle feels like, just below the skin instead. The sensitivity is constant, while the sharp pain is random, usually for 5-10 seconds 3-10 times a day. The area it covers seems to vary sometimes. Right now it's covering maybe 10 cm horizontally and 5 cm vertically. Sometimes it's smaller, and seems to concentrate the sensitivity into a smaller area.
There's nothing visual there, no rash, no pimples, no scars, lesions, marks etc. You really cannot tell that it's there.
I've brought it up to several doctors, none of which have seemed to have a clue of what it is. However, they don't seem to take it seriously either, so I'm not sure.
Does anyone have any idea what it might be? I know it doesn't seem like much, but at this point it's reminding me of chinese water torture. I'd just love to get it to go away.
Things I've tried:
- massages
- warm and cold compresses
- various skincare creams (it seems like it not topical)
- strength training
- band-aids and other ways of covering it to not irritate it
- moisturizers
Things I maybe suspect:
- I had a mole removed from near that area (5 cm away) when I was 14, maybe some damage to the tissue or something? No complications when removing or healing it tho.
- General nerve problem? Maybe my nerves right there just don't want to be team players right now?
- Muscle strain? I struggle a lot with tense shoulders (and tenseness everywhere else tbh), perhaps it's just overwhelming? Just strange that it's not symmetrical in that case.
- Weird skin thing. My skin is difficult, maybe this is just some other form of being difficult? I was on accutane in 2023 and noticed no difference before or after tho, and I would expect that if it was a skin problem.
General things about me/my health:
- F22, 178cm, around 55 kg
- Migraines (aura, ocular, silent... the works. If there is a migraine type, I have it)
- Low blood pressure
- Have had dizziness/lightheadedness problems, no specific diagnosis but not a problem anymore
- Poor eyesight lol

Hi! In the spirit of Christmas I'm thinking of gifting my older LCD 1TB model to my little brother so I can upgrade to an OLED version.
I'm thinking of buying the 512gb OLED and swapping the SSDs in a way that I get to keep my old 1TB, brother gets the 512GB.
Can I do this without completly formatting the drives and reinstalling games + SteamOS? What would be the fastest way?
