I found someone online I've noticed since 2 years. She used to poke me a lot coz I used to be the silent type in chatroom. I never texted anyone unless they text me. She used to text me and poke in dms and then I brought her to my personal discord as I dont find chatrooms safe.
We usually had conversations on spirituality and I never showed any signs of interest in her as I like keeping distance and it takes me years to get close or open up to anyone. Then there were days when she used to good morning texts and sexual memes and share anythig she found interesting on social medias. She slept together on calls with me and watched movies and dramas with me together. She was the same for like 3 months and also called me overqualified to be in relationships. Then after like 4 months I started to feel connected and started to open up and get emotional. Then she started talking highly of herself which she never did in the beginning and started sending memes that would show her superiority.
And she ghosted, as a narcissistic introvert she wouldnt reply to messages I sent on her phone or receive calls for days. One day after like 3 weeks she replied and she kept texting but she didnt show any signs of interests like she did in the beginning. Then she ghosted again. After trying to reach out after 2 weeks she came back again like for few days and she disappeared again. Then I texted her that I will never ever contact again and I wont. I have been through this like 4 years ago with my ex as well, it is just a matter of time I will forget that person and be busy with something else.
My conclusion is, no matter how nice the person is or they treat you, the attention game is real, the moment you give attention, acceptance of any kind or any affirmations of how good the person is, they will feel like that is all they ever wanted and will lose interest and ghost you just to get attention and feel good. No matter how "good" or "nice" the person is. It is human nature and the attention game is real!
I would love to hear your thoughts and advice on this.

2024.11.28 14:32 crescent_cryptid saving for my first pc, need some advice with a 1k usd budget
I'm a teen saving up to around a 1kusd goal for a new pc, but would like to see if I can get my budget a bit lower or not because of local prices being a bit more expensive sometimes. If I can't get it too low I'll probably either order most parts from amazon as I don't have any of the typical tech stores in my country like micro center, or ask my relative if she would be able to ship certain parts to me.
This will be my first actual pc build, and while I have some knowledge that doesn't meant I have much. I know I want a decent gpu and an am5 build for upgrading in the future, but honestly I'm not too picky imo. I know I want to be able to play minecraft on a server with 70+ mods on decent settings, and I want to be able to stream on twitch. Other than that, I would mostly play stardew valley, sims 4 and genshin impact, I don't think I'll be playing any graphics heavy 3d games or fps games right now.
Considering my current laptop is a ryzen 3 3200u that can just barely run 2d games, I figure I won't mind going for whatever the cheapest am5 cpu is and upgrading later on. For ram, I'll gladly take any cheaper alternatives. For gpu, I see a lot of people saying to use am5 instead of am4 and just get a cheaper gpu for now but I dont know what the best gpu in the same price range/performance range as the 3060 would be, and I especially have no clue about the amd gpus.
Essentially, I'm trying to save where I can while having room to upgrade later on, but also not trying to cheap out too much. Any advice would be super appreciated!!

2024.11.28 14:32 wayyu_official I'm in a dilemma, should I buy a PS5 (disk) now in the sale or wait to buy it later.
I have always been a PC gamer. Right from my childhood PC has been the only means for me to play games. Although, I'd often go out with my friends to play PS2 games in the shop, so my exposure to console gaming is very limited. I got a new laptop back in 2019 with an i7 9th gen cpu and a gtx1660ti GPU and so far ithasd served me well. I was able to play most of the games in 1080p red with high settings until very recently when it felt like I need tosturn my settings down to either medium or medium low to get 60 plus fps.
Now,I would definitely like to build a PC someday But until then I want a cheaper solution to gaming which would give me equal if not better experience to my previous setup. I also wanna play GTA6 the moment it comes and other old PS games which are not available on PC. So, is there anyone with an experience of transition from PC to console?

EA need to fix whatever is wrong with the PC version because it is literally unplayable. half a second input lag and the game randomly freezes whenever it feels like it. play against console player and you'll get smacked, turn off cross-play and you will more than likely face a cheater. incredible
