2024.11.28 16:36 GarmBlaka My fellow player is firebolting another player
Long story short, we're in a dungeon and they both have selfish dipshit PCs who both tried to get their hands on some money (that was scattered across the floor from my thunderwave). The DM made them guess what he rolled from a d20, and the player with the closer guess got to roll a d10 for how many percent of the said type of coin got. Due to some bad rolls, the other player (a dragonborn) got probably around twice as much as the other one (a drow), as well as an earring worth around 30 gold (more than what there was in money, I believe)
Since the drow had already lost all his money due to having been kidnapped (we haven't found his items yet), he was pretty pissed by this point. So he decided to firebolt the dragonborn, who already was at 1hp from having been unconscious just a couple minutes earlier. He won the initiative by one, and then rolled a nat 20 for the attack, so the dragonborn was again unconscious. The DM described him falling on the coins he'd just collected (that were still on the loor), though, and a drow sorcerer doesn't have the best changes in lifting a dragonborn... so he had to bring him back to consciousness. After doing so, he backed down, and the dragonborn dashed behind him and used his breath weapon (dealing 2 damage lol). The drow then missed his attack, the dragonborn hit his next, dealing a non-lethal blow, and then stole the rest of the coins from the drow. I have no idea what's gonna happen when he wakes up, but considering his personality trait I'll assume nothing good (though his arcane focus is gone, as well as all supplies, and afaik all spell slots as well). We'll see what happens later, we'll probably be playing for a couple more hours.
And since I'll be asked this anyway, we're playing ftf but have our character sheets and all on our laptops. My PC is currently ritual casting so there's really nothing I could do other than post our adventures on Reddit and listen to what's happening (currently in another room). My party does know I'm posting this, and are laughing about it.

I'm actually terrified lol. For context I have a barista job in my hometown I go back to during breaks from university so I'm at least familiar enough with most coffees. I'm also a very non-confrontational person with diagnosed anxiety đ
I dropped by the university cafe to get a matcha iced latte with vanilla while it wasn't too busy for about ÂŁ4. I can't drink hot drinks atm because of an issue with one of my teeth. The woman at the kiosk repeated my order my back to me and said "iced." But after that I think she either misheard me or hit a wrong button (we've all done it).
A different girl was making drinks and called out a hot vanilla matcha latte and no one claimed so I asked around and realised it was meant to be mine. I said "sorry i think this is meant to be mine but i ordered it iced, please can i have an iced one?" and she told me she'd remake it.
I have absolutely no issues with any of this, we've all messed up and its easily fixed.
However. She took the hot, steamed milk latte and poured it in a cup with ice and gave it back to me. She couldn't even fit it all in the cup with the ice.
Predictably the ice melted immediately and it was a lukewarm mess. I actually had to get the original girl who took my order to remake it because it tasted so bad (I did walk away and try to drink it because I'm so non-confrontational but I got so depressed about spending money on basically lukewarm crap that I had to go back).
TL;DR I ordered an iced latte and was given half of a hot latte poured over ice đ
I'm not going mental or being a Karen? It really did taste awful. But I feel like I've committed treason đ
PS I love scrolling on this sub on my breaks, I get so many tips and advice from here it really is fantastic <3

i'm hoping someone here can maybe give me some advice. basically i have to poop like a motherfucker but it hurts so bad i can't get it out. it feels like i'm literally shitting out razer blades. i've tried stool softeners, i've tried increasing my fiber intake and drinking more water but no luck and even eating foods that normally give me the shits, cheese, ice cream, etc. i'm so uncomfortable. my butthole is burning just sitting here and feel like i'm literally full of shit but i just cannot get it out. i had a tooth pulled 4 days ago now but i can't imagine that has anything to do with this. please help me
