I don't remember what we were talking about before he brought this up, but he (26M) started telling me (24F) something about how his ex was really religious and conservative and from what I understood, she was telling him that most of the guys she knows prefers girls to be like that and she was asking him how he felt about it, and he told me "I told her 'i'd love for you to be yourself'". And then that was it.. it was awkward silence after and I had no idea what to say until I changed the topic.
This happened a long time ago, I don't know why I'm still thinking about it. I did just text him for something last week so could be why.

2024.11.28 18:29 PerformanceHoliday7 K1C not square, cant find a good guide on how to fix
Hello!
I have a plethora of problems with my K1C that I cannot find a decent guide to fix.
My Calibration cube/prints are skewed (squares are more like rhombus's).
I cannot find my caliper but I am pretty sure one of the dimensions is off where pieces wont fit togethefit with my other printers.
The Z axis must be warped or something, cause it seems like its skipping teeth. (After a couple prints, the printer is unable to level the bed since one of the screws is DRASTICALLY different than the other ones) and the only way reset it is to screw it down manually, which I know shouldnt happen.
I have tried all the self test/reset the printeupdate firmware yet the issues are still maintaining.

I’m 30 years old. Feel like a loser. I just stuff my face every chance I get. Wake up at 1:30AM and eat a sandwich. I feel depressed and lost. I used to be in shape. Used to run marathons and workout daily. Now I’m 62lbs and find myself wondering what my next meal will be even if I just ate. I want to change. I want to be better. I want to be healthy. I have that mindset. “I will do it tonight” then it changes to “well you ate so much today anyways so let’s try again tomorrow” and it’s just a cycle. I used to love myself, now all I see is this lazy fat fuck. I hate me. I hate everything about me.

I am specifically looking for roleplays that have a natural bit of conflict in them the characters have to navigate. For example, small town va big city and different goals and life views. I don’t have any specific plots at the moment , I have some ideas but would prefer we creatively come up with something together, as I feel like we are both more likely to be invested in that way. I do prefer angst, tension and conflict. Morally gray, slightly toxic characters are also encouraged. I thrive writing some tensions.
I prefer Discord, and while NSFW elements are fine, I prefer them to not be the focus of writing. I also hope you come with a collaborative mindset and don’t just default to me - I will lose interest and stop replying.

2024.11.28 18:29 Minute_Try_7194 How should established IPs "get it right" in your view?
So I'll pick an ip at random that doesn't have an official TTRPG but is reasonably well-suited to have one; The Matrix. I know there are a couple of unofficial attempts but let's assume the ip owners (Village Roadshow Pictures Warner Bros.) don't register those as meaningful.
So, how should WBs go about designing and marketing a "The Matrix" TTRPG if they got it into their heads to enter the tabletop market?
Here are a couple of important choices I think they face;
Do we establish an in-house design studio or do we license the franchise to an established game design studio?
Pros of in-house: Greater control of use of brand, direct oversight, easier to utilize in-house or existing networked creatives, better structure for expanding into more in-house traditional game stuff, no need to find an appropriate external studio, is there even such a thing? No risk of brand image being warped through lens of external studio's other products.
Cons of in-house: Lack of existing TTRPG design experience as well as understanding of the market. Lack of contact with existing TTRPG market.
Do we want our own branded system or do we want to fold our game into an existing flexible system?
Pros of own system: Can perfectly align the system with the brand, total control and ownership of copyright, own system can act as baseline for expanded Brand/Overbrand (other WB properties) game ecosystem, building on and expanding brand recognition into the tabletop gaming market
Cons of own system: Much more design work, potential to be reinventing wheel, requires a longer period between inception and return, higher possibility of fundamental problems in design.
Do we market this as a great TTRPG set in The Matrix universe (centralizing the game) or as The Matrix: TTRPG (centralizing the brand?) Is this a false dichotomy?
And from your perspective as a player, do you want a TTRPG under (pick a brand you love that doesn't have one) to be a brand spanking new design or would you prefer that official modular content were released under the flag of a tried and tested system, or is all of that irrelivant as long as its a good product? Do you care if mechanics are derivative or unoriginal as long as they're the mechanics that fit the ip and provide a good play experience?
Is there a lens I'm missing through which to look at the whole concept?

I'm [21M] not going to give out any names in this, but my best friend is dating this girl and I've started hanging out with her sister. She's incredibly nice and always smiles and laughs when we hangout. We haven't known each other for that long at all, but she's done a few things that make me think she's interested in me. Don't get me wrong, I like her a lot, but I've never been in an actual relationship and have a history of getting rejected. I'm also autistic and can't read social cues or body language well. Not making excuses for anything, but I have a hard time reading people. My friend brought me over to their house and me and his girlfriend's sister were hanging out alone. After a little while, she cleared off part of her bed (just moving pillows and I think a blanket) and told me to lay down. Then she came back in the room and laid down next to me. We watched TV for a bit and we were pretty close to each other. While we're watching TV, our hands touched and she said "your hands are so cold" and then held my hand and said it was to warm me up. She also fell asleep multiple times while we were watching TV. The next day, me, my friend, and her went to Bath & Body Works and she did a few things that caught my attention. For one, she spent a solid two minutes adjusting the strings on my hoodie to make them straight. She did this a few times while we were there. She also sprayed cologne or perfume (idrk the difference) on my hoodie and got up close to smell it. Later, after we got back to her house, we were laying down in her bed watching TV again and we both fell asleep this time. She was supposed to drive me home, but after she fell asleep next to me, I was out cold. The next day, she got her nails done and texted me asking what she should get. I gave two options: red and white(cause candy canes) or blue and white (cause it looks like snow and ice). She picked red and white. She also knows my favorite color is red, while her favorite colors are blue and green. Later that day, we hung out again and went to see a movie. On the way to the theater, my friend and his girlfriend got into an argument so me and her sister sat between them during the movie. Her and I both kept falling asleep and slept through most of the movie, while my friend and his girlfriend were awake the whole time. I know this is basically an essay, but am I reading this all wrong? If I'm right and she is interested in me, how is this supposed to work? How do I go forward? I just don't get how any of this works. Everyone I've asked about it in my personal life has said she probably is into me, but I don't know how to tell. I don't want to mess this up, which is part of why it's on a throwaway.
