2024.11.28 17:50 LegoRobinHood PSA: After expeditions, you can only copy one ship at a time now.
I had this problem at the end of the Beachhead redux, and I figured it out in an alternate save (did the expedition twice).
Yes, it must be a new patch or something. Probably intended to slow down the folks with fleets of duplicates.
Fortunately there's a very simple workaround:
you can only have one duplicate at a time.
So just harvest your tech modules off it, scrap it or sell it to a squadron pilot or something, and copy it again.
And be sure to keep at least 1 copy of your expedition ship before the next expedition starts or it'll wipe out your prior copy source.
This means it's a good idea to switch ships during the expedition now, regardless of what model you start with, because the one back in your main save may also prevent you from copying your expedition ship back in, even the first time.
I was using the Iron Vulture when I had this problem. Fortunately the duplicate copy seems to keep the exotic-hauler stats, unlike the fabrications. Non-vulture ships might not do this, but I didn't get that far, and you can still only have one at a time.
That's all, just noticed some chatter about it in another thread and thought it deserved its own PSA.

Happy thanksgiving, Nole family. Quick question, I'm going to the UF game. Haven't ever had free time or money to go to football games of any kind really as an adult, so I'm just confused. Is it required these days to buy a parking pass online ahead of time, or is day of, drive up parking still a possibility anywhere? Driving 3 hours across state for the game, would hate to not have a way to get in because of an inability to park.

Failed 3 different screenings for 3 different projects, this is really killing my self-esteem and I am wasting hours of my life on them.
I do pay attention to the videos and even read the documents carefully before taking the quizzes, but no matter how hard I try I just keep going under the threshold score required?
I don't know, am I too stupid to understand the instruction? or are the questions asked faulty? I did come across several questions that their correct answer can be subjective, I also noticed contradictory information from what the videos are saying compared to what's written in the documents, but should I really blame it on that? lots of people pass assessments just fine despite the flaws, so is the problem on me? what exactly am I missing to keep failing? do I have a mental disability that needs to be diagnosed? maybe I am just too stupid to realize that I am in the wrong? please help.
The fact that you don't know what you answered incorrectly is really damaging me mentally and ruins my entire day, it's not fun to keep thinking on what exactly you did wrong to fail the screening when doing other stuff in life, and it's not healthy for me to keep checking the outlier page every 5 minutes in hopes that I can fit in a new project.
I need a break.

I contacted Emirates Flight Training Academy after 6 months after getting my weight down to 85Kg from 95Kg. I had a problem with me 12th grade certificate that's why I showed them my 10th grade results to prove I'm not autistic. My 12 grade classes was supposed to start around the first COVID lockdown so who knows what government did with my exam papers. ( 3rd world country )
I told EFTA about my weight loss on November 13. Prior telling them I checked their website a week before to see if there was any requirement changes.
So after notifying them about November 13 they first asked me to send my documents in again. Then the administration guy who was responding to my mail sent 2 mails each containing 1 sentence. This is where my suspicion began. I notified them in the same email thread that I talked with them before which already had my documents.
They said I still didn't qualify as there was a recent requirement change. So I asked for higher authorities and it was almost around closing time. Next day I get a reply at exact 7:27am which is very early in the morning and they said higher authorities saw my mail and the outcome was still same.
According to according to Google public service sector start working at 7:30 am and private sector start around 8 am. I don't think EFTA falls under public service sector. And who the hell likes to start work early ?
I'm not a new applicant and I followed all of their social media's for this not to happen but it happened anyways. None of them posted about there will be a requirement changes. My father's bit wee woo in the head he wasted one year of my life now I do not see any other option besides going to flight school. My suspicion is that the administration guy was Indian and he made fun of me because I am a Bangladeshi. I told my father about other flight schools, but he doesn't seem to respond to any other Flight School like Airbus or CAE I told him about that, but he doesn't provide me with the funds that I need for assessments. So how do I reach the higher authorities I already tried to contact Marwan Al Shalbani through Linkedin. He's in charge of enrolment, it's been weeks no response. I bought LinkedIn premium for this reason.

I have a question to ask regarding the base Tab S9. First I just wanna say that I'm very new to the tablet market I've only had 1 tablet when I was young and it was the first tablet Samsung ever made (I think) around 2010-2011 but I digress.
Fast-forward today, I started my master studies this year and I realized just how much I needed to get into digital note taking because of the ridiculous amount of paper I'm using.
While looking around for suitable tablets, the iPads and Galaxy tabs caught my attention. I saw a deal on Amazon UAE for the base Galaxy Tab S9 for around $450 for the 8gb ram + 128gb and $495 for 12gb ram + 256gb.
I'll be using the tablet for taking notes, drawing, media consumption and occasional gaming.
Now the question is, since I'm not that knowledgeable of the tablet market is this a good price for a year old base tablet? And is it worth going for the 12gb ram than the 8gb?
Also this is probably a common question but, how would the tab s9 compare to the iPad air 6?
