Mods didn’t like that I was asking about allodynia/skin sensitivity. Just started yesterday with my first dose and I’m asking an asked/answered question in hopes that people with longer experience than the posts that are months old could shed some light on their experiences.
I woke up this morning feeling like I got hit by a tank. Will this allodynia/skin sensitivity ease up? I started with my first dose yesterday at 2.5.
Any thing you’ve found that helps? Meds? Heat? Ice bath? Definitely open to ideas.

Pretty much the title. My base isn't optimized, nor are my rails, nor is my mining and Ive been debating about just rebuilding a new base on a peninsula or just letting the biters take it and going to Vulcan! (Though I still have to figure out fuel and all that on the spacerig!). This DLC is amazing and its like replaying the game all over again and learning it again, but I just don't get a lot of time to play between work and family. Any advice is appreciated for this noob. I've got 18 hours into this so far so I feel like restarting is a waste, but a part of me also just wants to get it 'right'.

Rental Company Continues to be Shady after LAHD Stepped in… Twice
I’ve been at my apartment for almost two years. There were a plethora of issues that LAHD forced the owner to fix, which the rental company stepped in and did. The owner tries every way possible not to follow city codes she doesn’t see necessary or wants to pay for.
The company was charging a “common area utility fee” and tried to pass them off as legal. LAHD stepped in as utility payments are not in our leases. They enforced that we don’t have to pay those, and the company must return the money collected.
Two months ago I spoke with the accounting manager at the rental company. She was unaware of the letter (probably a lie) and the fees were legit. I paid only my rent for Nov. I looked today… still being charged a utility fee. In addition, it looks they took the rent I paid for Nov, didn’t apply the service fee, but towards last month’s utility payment. I can only infer it was illegally deducted and classified the left over as “rent”. The charged utility fee was usually around $70.
I plan to call the rental company in the morning to make sure it wasn’t an error, and I can email the paperwork posted and sent to all residents. Other suggestions as they are exhausting to deal with?
TL;DR: Rental company not abiding to the removal of utility charges and reimbursement of those previous payments which have been enforced by LAHD. Portal shows as money towards rent being deducted from illegal utility fee, reclassified as “rent “ not collected.

Had my first 4 weeks and my 5th dose from the 2.5mg pen and thank god I chose to move up and order a 5mg. I inject on a Saturday & suppression is all but gone by Tuesday now! I’m finding I can eat much bigger portions even if it is still healthy and food noise is well and truly back. I’ve had chocolate and white bread, 2 things I haven’t touched for over a month until today. I’m so happy for people who can maximise 2.5mg but that ain’t me! Roll on 5!!! 💪🏻

I wanted to try making a few knives, but I don't really intend to get all the way into full on forgeing, I just intend to get stock and cut and shape it with a angle grinder, belt sander, and bench grinder, but I still need to harden the steel.

This post is not about politics, but mildly involves it.
Thanksgiving is here, small family gathering for myself this year. My parents and I are Republicans, my parent more so than myself (they're also boomers and my dad watches Fox News A LOT) and my sister is VERY much to the left. During the Macy's Parade on TV I made a mild Trump joke off the cuff, (Ninja Turtles were on with someone singing "Why Can't We Be Friends") had nothing to do with her or her vote or opinions just made an off the cuff joke. I do that. She storms out of the living room. To show what kind of stupid quick jokes I make, a bit later the South Carolina Marching Band came on and I said "Look, Cocks on parade" (mascot joke) its just a simple as that. Sister still got very emotional over the Trump joke.
This led to an issue of my sister perceiving it to me "rubbing it in her face" or something. Led to a long winded rant of her political believes too. I have a severe disposition with anyone attributing my actions to what they THINK I meant rather than what I really did, or even wanted. People have treated me harshly over what they think I meant by X Y and Z rather than ask me. I've had people in my life attribute what was actually a good thing to a bad thing instead by how they see it. Even a few years ago, after a terrible season of severe depression, I had (former) friends attribute a time of recovery to a time of "getting worse" and despite me telling them they were wrong they double-downed. I told them my therapist even saw massive improvement, and they still double-downed. Back to my sister, she still insisted I made one little joke off a motivation that just wasn't there. If one thing is really hurting me right now this Thanksgiving its that, not politics.
If the response from some of y'all is about how other people have their own perceptions too and its not all about me, you're right, but damn it the same is true about everyone else. I'm tired of having to occasionally tell people to breakdown what I said so they can understand what I said, rather than try to debate their emotions perception of what I said.
It often makes me just rather want to be alone, or never speak up. I don't want to live in that kind of world (dont take that too harshly please, just noting its hard for me) And yeah there can be more in this but I just needed to get this out somewhere quick I suppose. Just to be clear for a second, I'm not going to do anything rash, I'll be fine on that front.
