the pc i currently have was gifted to me a handful of years ago. it's a decade old and runs... fine... but it can't run final fantasy 16.
and i really really want to play final fantasy 16.
i looked at the recommended stats on steam but the stores around me don't seem to sell graphics cards like that?? or i don't know.. there just isn't anything that matches..
so what do i need to look for?
-i want a pc that's a significant upgrade to what i currently have, and will last me years -current specs: intel core i5-7500. 16GB ram. CPU @ 3.40ghz. 64 bit operating system. -i want to play genshin impact, final fantasy, baldur's gate, etc -idc if it has wifi, i have a wifi plug in thing -idc what it looks like -i think i don't care about storage because i can get more, right? i think? -ideally under 800$ CAD and on sale
someone told me this was my best option but idk... is it?

I recently got a Trimui console for my 5-year-old, and so far, he’s been loving it! He’s mostly played PS1 and GBA games on it, but I’m curious about how far I can push this little device in terms of graphics.
Does anyone know the best consoles it can run smoothly? I’d love to explore other options that offer slightly better visuals while still being kid-friendly and playable.
Also, I’d appreciate any game recommendations for a 5-year-old. He enjoys platformers, puzzles, and simple adventure games. For reference, he’s really enjoyed Crash Bandicoot (PS1) and Kirby & the Amazing Mirror (GBA).

I am so tired of people on the internet "calling out" strangers for saying things like, "my OCD would not handle that mess," "I wouldn't stand holding that because of my OCD." News flash, OCD is not specific, we don't know these people and one comment does not dictate whether they really have OCD or not. I can't mention anything about my contamination OCD because I don't doubt people will yap about how OCD isn't just about contamination. Yea, it isn't JUST about contamination, that does not mean it never is about contamination. Notice the difference, "OCD isn't about contamination" vs "OCD isn't just about contamination," need I explain more?
It's all kinds of people who claim people are faking. Some people with OCD feel so invalidated that someone has a different kind of OCD that they have to bring them down, and people without OCD think they know about it and want brownie points for "defending us" when really they're just sweeping us under the rug and calling us out for faking. Disrespectfully, shut up. One short comment is not enough context.
