I (23M) work in an exam proctor center at my university, in a small town that is very cis hetero and white. No biggie, I grew up in a big city but I like it here enough. The one thing is, I'm also Turkish, and miss having cultural connections.
Today I was helping a student (F, first year uni) and saw her name was a distinctly arabic/turcic one, let's say Aishe. I made a brief throwaway comment about how I appreciated meeting another middle eastern person, and the reaction was very nothing, followed by a normal bit of conversation after and a shift in subject (not abrupt or awkward change, just conversation flow). I neglected to mention specific identity, or how I miss home since I haven't been back since 2018, and I feel like that in turn removes a bunch of context.
I got home and I can't help but feel like bringing it up means I biffed it. I know typically people should not mention it, but it's so rare here and I really miss having people to connect with. My name is also readable as arabic, but because it gets mispronounced so much and an english equivalent exists, people usually just anglecize it, which I did when introducing myself. I'm very pale but still have mostly the right skin tone, dark hair, and it's pretty obvious when I say I too am middle eastern, but I'm worried I still missed the mark here, especially since this happened at work and there could be some layer of discomfort. I also realized on the car ride home that the specific name can be African or related to religion, so she may not even be from the middle east, but just Muslim and, say, Asian or African.
AIO for being so weird/thinking about this so much? WIBO if I apologized next time she came in? Please help!

I have the ME 1-3 box set on XBox 360. Would love to play the DLC, but the 360 store was closed in July, and I haven't been able to get the website to actually let my payment go through for the DLCs they list in the store (meanwhile game pass goes through fine, so issue is not likely to be on my end). So now I'm wondering: if I got LE through the xbox store, would it be compatible and possible to play on my 360 through my live account?

I thought I am trans, but whats the point when everything in your life will fail. The only Thing in my life i achived get Abi. Since then I couldnt get anything done. Failed uni,.failed car school and failed relationship. In my life so far nothing can get better or simpler it always gets for me. I have asperger autism and so far anything failed because of an meltdown. Why should it magically be possible for me to able to transition or be a woman when its doomed to fail anyway. My Psychologist who made the diagnosis that im trans didnt give me the paper and I need it for January for an endo appointment. I could call him tommorow, but because of the holidays it could be already to late for me to get it and then I guess I cannot get an new endo appointment again. The Cracks are slowly showing and I guess I have to live my life as an disgusting men. Isnt the point of transition to be more happy and have an better life, but getting something to be happy about will not happen in my life. So could I still be trans even though its not possible for me ever to be happy and what I want doesnt matter in my life ?

Hallo Leute, ich hab da mal ne Frage. Also ich habe leider vor drei Wochen meinen Ausweis verloren welcher eh am 10.10.2024 abgelaufen wäre, nun ist es hier aber sehr schwierig einen Termin beim Bürgercenter zu bekommen, und ich würde gerne nun nach einigen Monaten Arbeitslosigkeit einen Arbeitsvertrag unterschreiben.
Da wäre jetzt meine einzige Möglichkeit mir einen vorläufigen Ausweis zu holen und anschließend auf einen neuen Termin zu warten.
Kann ich auch mit einem vorläufigen Ausweis, welcher drei Monate gültig ist, einen Arbeitsvertrag unterschreiben? Im Internet habe ich dazu leider nichts gefunden, nur dass man bei manchen Unternehmen keine Verträge abschließen kann welche länger gehen als der Ausweis gültig ist.
Danke schonmal im vorraus an alle hier falls jemand schonmal die Situation hatte

- Beyond map specific events or affixes, is the only difference between the T1-T3 map tiers the upper limit on mob rarity/density/mf affix rolls? Or is there something else I'm missing?
- Also, fortified maps have 50% mobs with ×2 drop rate but does that also account for rune drops? Not sure if they made it so that there are 2 separate loot table rolls on mob death, which would double run drops, or if they just increased the likelihood of the single loot table roll dropping an item.

She came with a “sister” who looked more like a German shepherd or maybe a malanois and the one I adopted looks like a Dutch shepherd.
