2024.11.28 21:30 BurningYeard Is honor mode viable for someone who doesn't min-max?

Maybe people with a good grasp of the honor mode could chime in here. I want to get a feel if I should even start a second run. I just got a game over after that hobgoblin Ragzlin in the Shattered Sanctum saw right through me and attacked. I was buffed with spells and elixirs, not too underleveled (level 3), but I had bad luck with my opening spells, had two party members downed in round 2 (his Legendary Action helped that along I think), and then died fleeing while getting swarmed from all sides.
Without exact foreknowledge of encounters like this, I think the only thing I could have done better is to make sure everyone in the party has invisibility potions or shadow step scrolls, etc to maximize the chances to flee if things go downhill. But I'm not even sure that would have been enough, considering how far away the next exit is.
I have beaten the game on tactician, so I think I'm reasonably competent with the systems. But I don't like min-maxing, I don't want to plan builds or party composition, I don't want to use guides, I want to experiment with doing things differently than my first playthrough.
Do you think honor mode is viable for me with those parameters?

Maybe it’s just because i only play alone (i don’t have friends to play with and everyone that’s messaged me here has either ghosted me or been.. weird) but i just don’t have fun playing BO6. Im not the best at the game, but i used to have a lot of fun playing MW2 even when alone. but with BO6 i just kinda get bored quickly
I want to try and play zombies, but ive only played BO3 zombies for like.. 4-5 rounds tops (i was alone & got scared lol)

Hey all
I’m about to set up Notion as my main second brain type app, to manage projects and tasks and so on.
Craft is so temptingly beautiful, and with collections in the 3 release, looks like it comes close to doing what I want without the notion feature bloating don’t really need.
Has anyone been able to set up a crm in craft?
What I need is a way to make meeting notes linked to companies, and be able to search through them.
Ideally I’d track deals and contacts in a separate linked table too, but as long as I can search them easily it’s fine.
The second use case where I’m not sure about craft is due my content creation system. This doesn’t need to be as much of a database, but I’d like to track ideas and content in a structured way and would love to see how others do it.
Final use case is trash and project tracking - just having tasks isn’t quite enough, I need projects too. And I suck at setting and maintaining due dates, so need a way to track tasks that do not have dates associated with them. Any examples greatly appreciated.
To do calendar and tasks well for me, I need to be able to select from my list of tasks and time block on today’s schedule. I don’t think craft can do this, but I would love to be proven wrong.
So much of craft is brilliant and this new direction inspiring, but just need a few things to get me over the edge.
