Medium-term lurker, new poster.
Some quick background:
Played MW2 as a kid, and was enamored but super terrible. Played Mech Assault on Xbox, and I just love the 'mechs tbh. I've had MW5 in my Steam library for a while and then a couple of months ago started playing on my Steam Deck and PC, vanilla only.
88 hours later I finished the campaign. Real good time. Ended up gravitating towards dual gauss with low-aim assist on for those sweet, sweet headshots at medium and close range.

So, I'm going to get the 4-pack of DLC's because it's got HotIC up through Rasalhague (sp?) for $23.76. My question is thus:
Are the Dragon's Gambit and Solaris Showdown worth the extra $5.99 each? Not sure of gameplay enhancements, if any. In the end ~$12.00 isn't much, but I can get a couple other decent games inside that price point. Thanks, Mechwarriors!

I know that it’s not everyone’s cup of tea and doesn’t make for healthy romance and that’s why I’m not really set on it. I would like to have more close friends though. Not allergic to cat hair. • maybe an avid reader, who will give me recs or maaaybe even read me some of their favorite stuff in voicechat! • want to yap about your life and infodump all about your special interests, maybe listen to me do the same • do not have severe confidence issues or dysphoria (idk how to help with these) • not a particular enjoyer of heavy triggering arthouse films/Dostoyevsky/ similar depressing things. I can appreciate them but life is crap enough, so I don’t want our time to build on topics that are too heavy • if you’d ever want to meet offline, you’d have to come to my neck of the woods probably or meet at a country that lets me in (e.g., Turkey)

Hello,
This is not the sort of post I normally make on Reddit, but I really need some help.
I have been struggling with a panic disorder (at least, that's what I think it is) for the past 4 years. It started with my first panic attack, and ever since then has just gradually gotten worse.
For the past 2 years I've been essentially housebound. I can't go outside without immediately panicking and disassociating. Even being at home, I am constantly extremely anxious. I'm consistently awake for over 24 hours at a time, stuck up all night literally shaking in fear. Every second of every day I'm just scared, I cannot have a single moment of relaxation without suddenly panicking because I dared to let my guard down.
I've tried a couple of medications from my GP (Propranolol and Sertraline), both of which did nothing besides giving me nasty side effects. I've been seeing a combination of counsellors and therapists privately for just over 2 years. While it has helped to talk about my issues and try to understand where they've come from, it has not helped in the slightest to actually handle my disorder.
I'm really at breaking point and feel like I have nowhere to turn. It feels like I've just been stuck in a never ending nightmare for years with absolutely no way out. I've tried to do the "right thing", going down the route of therapy and SSRI. I know I've only tried one SSRI and I'd be open to trying more, but my anxiety is so bad and I know from experience that it tends to make it worse when you first start taking it, I quite literally cannot handle it right now.
What are my options here? I'm truly stuck and feel like I need very immediate support. But every time I go to the NHS I either get offered an SSRI or a seemingly never-ending waiting list for therapy (which I've already paid for myself and tried). This entire time I've just about maintained my job (working from home), but I'm truly at breaking point and don't know how much more I can take.

Hello! We have the cordless LG P9, purchased only 4 years ago. Both batteries have stopped working. 1 new LG battery is almost $100, so we aren't buying that - at that rate I might as well get an entire new one. So we got an off-brand one from Amazon, still that cost almost $60.
We have both Makita and Kobalt cordless power tools at our house. Wondering if there is an adapter for the LG where we could use one of these batteries on?

Hi I just joined this community recently decided to upgrade my potato pc from 2017, it has a AMD FX-6300 cpu, Radeon RX 460 graphics and 16 gigs of DDR3 ram. I mainly play Fortnite, and it runs ok on lower settings, around 60 fps average. No extreme lag spikes or stutters. I want to upgrade the CPU, GPU, storage(I still have a hard drive)and RAM, which also means I need a new motherboard. This is what I’ve decided on so far:
CPU: Ryzen 7 5700 GPU: Speedster SWFT210 Radeon RX 7600 RAM: Ripjaws V DDR4 16GB SSD: TEAMGROUP MP44L 1TB MB: ASrock B450M Steel legend AM4 Totals about $570 on Amazon Everything else like coolers and stuff I already have
I’m still pretty new to pc building and watched a few videos. I tried to budget this upgrade so I don’t have to sell my kidneys, so if anything looks wrong or could be improved please tell me. Thanks y’all
