Essa foi minha primeira experiência com um livro português (excluindo os que li na escola), com um autor vencedor de um nobel de literatura e, também, com um autor clássico (embora essa classificação seja um pouco subjetiva). De qualquer forma, vamos lá.
O livro é maravilhoso, de certa maneira, é uma fanfic da bíblia comentada. Acho que seria uma boa descrição. O Saramago reescreve a história da bíblia tendo o Caim como protagonista e utilizando do personagem para tecer críticas ao deus cristão. De certa maneira, dá pra dizer que o Caim é uma representação do Saramago na obra, no sentido de suas opiniões e visões. Ele é o único que destoa daquele mundo, que tem opiniões divergentes e não teme o Senhor, e isso é delicioso. Ainda, no entanto, eu acho que os grandes momentos da história se concentram ainda na primeira parte, antes dele sair da cidade de Lilith. O começo no paraíso, a primeira conversa com deus e o romance e o encontro com Abraão são de um humor, irreverência e prazer indescritíveis (aqui, usa-se palavras que sejam sinônimos de muito bom)
A escrita, bom, é um caso a parte. Pra quem já leu o Saramago, eu vou parecer um completo iniciante enredado na trama dele, mas a escrita é simplesmente foda. Mesmo usando um monte de termos extremamente específicos, ele ainda mantém a coisa muito fluida e gostosa de ler, com os comentários ficando cada vez mais ácidos. A parte em que ele questiona o motivo de perpetuarmos a espécie ainda no comecinho do livro é muito foda.
Enfim, gostaria de saber o que quem leu também achou. Decidi começar Saramago por esse livro e já estou em busca de recomendações de qual ler na sequência (Intermitências da morte e Jangada de Pedro estão bem cotados na minha cabeça) ou então de outros livros e autores com propostas semelhantes

I've recently been offered a job in ppc for an agency that specialises in working with startups marketing their apps.
I come from a background of working in an agency that work with everyone and anyone (30+ clients per month), but this has mostly been in the energy and utilities sector, b2b lead gen and then a mixture of hotels and ecommerce, but next to no apps.
The day to day sounds similar but I'm conscious that startups by nature would be budget tight.
Has anyone worked in this space before and give any pointers about what it's like?

Been struggling with weeping eczema for the last 3 months, has started to spread further out now. Tried Fucidin H, Flucloxicillin and now been started on Co-Amoxiclav. The itchiness is non stop. Does anyone have any tips on managing? Been told to keep applying Fucidin H now as it will help with inflammation. Switching to Simple brand shampoo and body wash, keeping hair up as much as possible and have emollient cream on its way. This is exhausting. I am struggling to sleep. Hello!
Looking for some advice on cooking time and method for a small amount of turkey (single leg and thigh). I dry brined it according to Serious Eats.
Some roasting recipes for a whole bunch of parts suggest 2-3 hours at a pretty low temp and then ramping up to 500f for 30 mins to get the brown color. Are there any other methods and would it take a lot less time for only two turkey parts?

Today I made the stupid decision to bring my Mom home for Thanksgiving dinner. She didn't want to go back, told my wife she didn't have any children and various other hurtful shit. Then she asked me to take her back to the nursing home (she's only there short term). I told her to get up and I would be happy to take her there. She refused to go back. I told her it wasn't optional. I leaned down, she struck me in the face so hard that I have a red mark and grabbed my hair. In an attempt to protect myself I had to grab her and restrain her until she let me go. I feel awful. Like, really really awful. But Im unsure of how I could've handled it better. I don't know if she's going to be able to press charges even though she struck me. I took her back to the nursing facility and reported to the nurse what had happened.

Got a new backlight today, installed the Govee app on my phone and was able to set everything up.
When I installed the app on my google tv, it asked for an API key, applied for it and got it immediately, but when I enter it on my TV and select read device, it says connection with server problem.
I don’t know what that means, I have tried 3 different API keys and none worked and I kept getting the same error.

 | I know they moved the location of a few missions but I can't seem to find the 2nd drop box for Secret Compassion. It used to be where the "X" is but now the coordinates say 170, 116 which would be somewhat around where I circled on the map. I have looked at the front porch of every home and theres no drop box.
