2024.11.28 22:49 Individual-Yoghurt-3 Bought my CNAs giftcards today for Thanksgiving and ended up writing my resignation email
I’m just ranting because I’m feeling emotional and wanted to see if I over reacted. So every holiday I bring the CNAs who work with us on the unit a gift card, $10 for dunks or Starbucks… there is usually 4 of them on, so I think that spending $40 to show them I am glad they worked on the holiday with me (makes my job easier when they are here) is a thing to do. No I am not a manager, just a regular floor nurse. I’ve been doing it for YEARS… so to today. Over the past few months the morale really has taken a sharp turn down. Half of the CNAs feel that it is beneath them for nurses to ask for anything. Vitals, help with repositioning, an EKG. Well today I had my last straw dealing with entitled, “I’m not doing anything” attitude. I wrote an email to my manager saying that this continual “holier than thou” attitude isn’t working for me anymore. I gave one Starbucks gift card to one CNA only. I did appreciate her working. Should I have just not given any? I’m just to the point I don’t want to deal with this dynamic anymore. Management isn’t addressing it and I don’t think they ever will either. End rant.

Food and Water
- You’ll need food (dry/wet), feeding and water bowl/ dishes, and a litter box when your cat first comes home.
- While any bowl can be used initially, switch to stainless steel or ceramic bowls later. A cat fountain will be beneficial for high water intake. Water source should be clean (distilled or mineral water) to avoide parasitic problems later on.
- Cats require a meat-based diet due to their obligate carnivore nature. *If changing their diet, do so gradually by mixing old and new foods.
- Use large, accessible litter boxes, keep them clean, and consider your cat’s preferences to avoid behavioral issues.
- Have at least two litter boxes, placed in different locations
Identification and Safety
- Use ID tags, collars with breakaway features, and microchipping.
- Vaccinations, particularly for rabies, is important. See vaccination schedule here.
- A carrier is essential for vet visits or emergencies, and a scratching post
Cat Toys and Enrichment:
- Offer a variety of toys though cats may prefer simple household items over store-bought toys.
- Cats may also appreciate a bed, and cat tree
- Be aware of substances and plants that are toxic to cats and avoid giving them medications without veterinary advice.

because i really need some opinion...hmm..so i have medium length hair because my hair is fine type...i'd say my hair is thin hair too..it's kinda not thick and not than thin when i hold it..yeah i'd say it just thin..i just born with it..and it is 2b&2c type of my hair..because i think its too curly to be in straight type and too straight to be in the curly side..and with my finess hair..and thin.. the only thing i grateful it always smooth when u touch it..that's the only thing i like about my hair i guess..the rest meh..seriously i need routine..it become easily frizzy too....hmm..thank u...(if u guys can suggest product it would be helpful too~)
