Hello,
I received a notification I have been banned from a subreddit after being flagged for "ban evasion". I only have this one reddit account I've used for over 10 years. Does anyone have any insight into what can be done about this? I see there have been posts in the past on similar issues, has reddit addressed this anywhere? The mods of the subreddit refuse to help me, do I just have to cut my losses and stop using that subreddit? Kinda a bummer but ultimately no big deal i guess.

 | Northeastern US The coat had not been outside recently, or I think ever, since I bought it years ago. The coat itself is vintage and trimmed with what I assume is real fur. I found it on the fur part. I have tons of old stuffed animals in my closet, plus yarn. It has all been sitting mostly undisturbed for quite a while until just recently when I cleaned out my closet. A couple days ago I shot at a school competition(NASP rules and guidelines and 6 rounds of 10 meters) and I got a 269. It's was my first actual competition of the year and I was wondering how if that was good or not. I didn't even make top ten so I know it isn't that good but I just need to know if it was bad or not, lol. I've been practicing archery for a while(since like 6th grade and I'm currently in 9th, skipped doing it in 8th though) and I get real nervous about if I'm doing good or not. Simply asking my teammates isn't enough since I know they're biased.

I was just training sprint intervals and tracking with my Epix gen 2, and for 2 of my intervals I clicked start/stop button rather than the lap button after my rest period, missing out on tracking 2 of my intervals. 2024.11.28 23:38 ReversePhylogeny So, like... what Sasquatch actually.. IS?
I get it, I get it - it's a tall, bipedal, north-american primate (likely with various related species or subspecies across other continents) with dark fur. Alright. But what actually (species-wise) is bigfoot?
For the longest time (and I never doubted the existence of bigfoots since my childhood) I believed sasquatch to be a descendant of Gigantopithecus (or at least a closely related genus).
But now, looking at all the evidence we have, I started kinda doubting the gigantopithecine lineage. Footprints are long, and relatively thin, with toes close together - just like in human feet. Also, on the P/G footage, the sasquatch female seems to have a bulbous, very human-like nose - unlike any other ape.
That means that sasquatch is either a species in the genus homo (meaning that it's basically a human, so, well... WHAT???) or that it's a species in some other hominid genus, that experienced a wild physical convergence with humans (which imo doesn't make any sense at all).
What is your opinion? Human? Gigantopithecus? Some other humanoid primate? 🦧

Our Snoo broke today (Thanksgiving) and we can’t get the replacement o-ring until tomorrow. Anyone have tips for a night without using the Snoo? Baby is 5 weeks old and I feel like he reallllly likes level 2, and level 3 usually can put him back to sleep if he wakes up. (I realize he will still wake up to eat at this age but it helps to rock him back to sleep if he wakes up super soon after going down) thanks in advance!
