I was thinking that metaphor took an average of 8 years to be developed. How long do you think we will wait for a new game? Persona 6, for example, has been in development for about 5 years (I hope it comes out next year). I think a lot of that production time was due to the lack of a solid base.
Persona 6 is definitely being made based on 5 (I think they are taking everything good about the game and improving it for Persona 6). I see metaphor as a totally new genre for the team and based on the Persona series (I still think they tried to take as little as possible) and made in a very "obsolete" engine for today's days, which made the project take longer.
I think the next game made based on metaphor and with a more current engine being made in UE4 the game would take at most 5 to 6 years.

Games are not snowbally enough. I can play an early game jungler, get all the objectives, first blood, you name it. But carrying 4 people is that much harder when the enemy team is afforded the extra gold from champion and objective bounties.
Tier 3 boots add some much needed snowball factor to the game. But we need even more. Most games are decided by 25 minutes, and it’s just a waiting game of when the winning team works up the courage to force a fight or baron.
For starters, death timers need to be much longer. In a decided game where one team has baron buff, it should be easy to end the game from outer towers all the way to the nexus in one fight.

Hello, My husband and I are married and we have a newborn. We fought today because I asked him to speak to his mom about not kissing our baby on the head. (She ultimately did this she knows not to we talked about it) he said he would. The thing with my husband is he doesn’t like confrontation or awkwardness and I feel like he avoid stuff. So he was on the phone with his mom talking and I didn’t hear him speak about the kissing thing but other stuff. So I guess when I left the room to did something he spoke to her about it. Idk. So at the moment I didn’t think he didn’t do it. Im kinda use to that really. If I say that to him it would hurt his feelings.
So he came to me after he spoke to his mom saying she is sad. I said oh no that’s terrible why? I was doing something in the kitchen and he started to tell me if anything is wrong. I was truthful and said did you tell your mom not to kiss the baby. He said yes and I said thank you. He got upset with me. Saying that I had an attitude and I’m always upset. I said I didn’t know if you asked your mom and I was wrong. (Honestly idk if he told his mom he said he did but who knows) so his issue is I was quiet and didn’t say much and I guess to him had an attitude. I was wrong and said this to him. I jumped to conclusion and I admit I was wrong. I also thought he didn’t say anything bc when he got on the phone with his mom I told him to not forget and he rolled his eyes and looked forward. That was rude to me. I told him this and he said oh you mad about a look I didn’t give you??? I could say to him oh you mad about an attitude I didn’t give you??
I hope I’m explaining it well. I feel like I know I had an attitude bc I thought he didn’t talk to his mom about something important. I was wrong (he said he talked to her) so even though I didn’t hear him I believe him and I apologize for thinking he didn’t. He got mad bc he thought I shouldn’t get upset in the first place. I said okay that’s just how I felt but I was wrong sorry. He got mad and started to yell at me with the newborn in the house and say that I cause issues all the time and can’t live like this. Saying I should find someone else to make me happy, I told him that’s not nice.

Hey all, my partner and I are big fans of the Zero Escape series. We just recently wrapped up AI1 and we loved it! :) There were a couple of plot things that didn't quite make sense to us (e.g. why didn't Hitomi ask Renju to help financially some more with Iris's condition?), but overall we were pretty satisfied.
One thing that's stood out now that we've gone over the various scenes and investigations again is in the scene between Mayumi & Iris after Ota knocks out Date. When Aiba replays what she recorded while Date was unconscious, it seems like Iris gets closer to Mayumi and does something to her after the "You witch!" line...it's like there's an odd sound effect (maybe clothes rustling?) then prolonged silence until Ota shouts to check in on them.
This moment felt pretty significant to us the first time through. We were already hypothesizing about potential mind swap, mind control, and/or nanomachines early on, and this felt like a moment where Iris had "brainwashed" Mayumi...in fact, this may have been our first timeline so we really didn't know about the dementia, etc.
Now that we're all done, I know that couldn't have happened. Based on the fact that Saito was in Iris's body at the time (iirc), I feel like Iris may have just touched Mayumi's face, hair, or clothing to calm her down, but I'm not really sure...and it still feels off somehow.
Is there any information on this, or any widely-accepted fan hypotheses? Any help or thoughts would be appreciated.
