I went to a&e last night for my friend, i waited with them for about an hour and a half, despite being super scared for obvious reasons.
When we first went I saw a man sat with an emesis bag that was about a quarter way full. Nobody was wearing a mask (including myself) so I was really nervous but I stayed with my friend anyway. That guy was there the whole time. I could also hear soo many people coughing so I’m also kind of worried about covid. Then there was a guy a couple seats down from us and his face was covered in blood and at one point he started gagging and covering his mouth. His friend was up at the reception desk and some lady said to him ‘hey your friend needs a bowl!’ and he literally like ignored her lol so she was like ‘HELLO! YOUR FRIEND IS GOING TO BE VIOLENTLY SICK!’ and finally he got a bowl to him, at this point i stood up and moved away as an instinct reaction. I texted my friend and said I’m still here i’m just nervous, and they were like honestly you can go like it’s perfectly fine, so I ended up going home and just being on standby in case they needed anything.
Part of me is like, maybe I should have pushed through and stayed for longer, but I still think I was really brave and I am proud of myself. My friend is okay btw and home now. Right now I’m kinda worried that I picked up a virus but honestly it’s not taking over my mind which is such a crazy feeling for me. I am still eating as normal and staying calm. I’m a little nervous that I could get sick, and of course ideally i’d rather not be sick, but I know i could handle it if I was.

What is this madness – surely the course was for just 20 days?Yes, but hopefully you’ll go on learning, so here’s a few suggestions for directions that you might take.
Play with your server You’re familiar with the server you used during the course, so keep working with it. Maybe uninstall Apache2 and install NGINX, a competing webserver. Keep a running stat on ssh “attackers”. Whatever. A free AWS will last a year, and a $5/mo server should be something you can easily justify.
Add services that you’ll use You should now be capable of following tutorials on installing and running your own instance of Minecraft, Wordpress, WireGuard VPN, or Mediawiki. Expect to have some problems – it's all good experience!
Take a look at Server World for some inspiration.
Extend your learning Stop browsing articles on Gnome, KDE or i3 – and start checking out any articles like “20 Linux commands every sysadmin should know”. Try these out, delve into the options. Like learning a foreign vocabulary, you will only be able to use these “words” if you know them!
Check out Linux Journey if you haven't already, specially if you are still pretty new to Linux and would like to see a different learning approach. Linux 101 Hacks is also a good resource.
Practice what you've learned with some challenges at SadServers.com. There you'll find a collection of scenarios where you have to do, fix or hack something in a Linux server. It's great to exercise your troubleshooting skills without messing with your own server.
To get crazy fast in the command line, try Command Line Challenge, practicelinux.com, learnshell.org and commandlinefu.com.

Certifications If you’re looking to do Linux professionally, and you don’t have an impressive CV or resume already, then you should be aiming at getting a Linux certification. There are really just three certs/tracks that count:
- CompTIA Linux+ - one and done exam, distro independent but doesn't hold much value in the market. Do this if you don't want to get too deep into Linux, or you have other CompTIA tracks going on and an employer is paying for them.
- LPI LPIC-1: Linux Administrator – Very extensive description of the coverage of their various certs/courses. You can go very deep with this exams, they cover everything you can think of pure Linux. Not so popular with employers but the knowledge certainly holds it value.
- Red Hat – You could spend a lot of time and money here, but it might well pay off! Geared to RedHat Enterprise Linux distribution and its particularities, it is a practical exam (the others are multiple question) and it's well known in Enterprise circles, it really pops up in any resume.
Affordable professional training Show your appreciation! Steve Brorens (@snori74) was a collector of postcards and enjoyed greatly all the "Snail Mail" he received from the students.

Indulged in some aesthetic first factorio ship design today. Goal was to have a mostly symmetrical inner system transport that used the advanced thruster and oxidizer recipies + foundries. I've seen the long cargo tail appraoch before on this subreddit and wanted to give that a try as well... once I had the basics the pronged nose demanded to be built, so here we are. This is my first build where everything goes into the hub, and I kinda liked it!
Hope someone finds a use for it!
Comments welcome, but this is definitely far from optimal.
Notes: I usually go all rare quality and turbo belts, but brought everything down to normal quality and red belts so it's more accesible. You could definitely get away with normal panels (except above Fulgora) especially if you add some more along the tail or some such.
I stuck with just normal ammo because the red ammo just doesn't seem worth it for ships, but maybe I'm missing something?
Asteroid productivity makes a big difference. Even without, this should work fine, just might take an extra 30 seconds between jumps. I'd guess Ice would be the first issue without, could easily swap some panels for a dedicated Ice crusher if need be. (in which case you'd need to play with the control logic balancing Ice and Calcite)
The blueprint defaults to the pumps being always on, but if you set a limit based on the tankers, it will end up with slightly slower transits but maintain a much high average efficiency (>70%).s

So my first church was a mix of Calvinism with Word of Faith and I'm wondering if this teaching is in any ways heretical as well. They did teach that Christ went to Hell for 3 days to pay for our sins (which feels like it contradicted other stuff they taught?) and I know is a heresy, but another teaching was, when I asked a pastor there when it was that Jesus put His blood on the altar in heaven (altar, mercy seat? Not sure if there's a distinction.). He told me that in the eyes of God, that was done on the cross. So just wondering...is this orthodox? Unorthodox? Heretical? I'm leaning towards it at least being unorthodox. I feel like these two teachings are connected somehow?
