Hi, I'm totally oblivious when it comes to electricity. I am wanting to set up a 3D Printer, a wash and cure station and also a heating band on the printer. I have a couple of questions.
Question 1 - Is it ok to use an extension lead running from an external plug socket as a temporary measure until I can save a bit of cash and get a double socket ran into the shed from the house. I would only use the extension when actually using the printer and would unplug it all and store the extension away when not using it. Not leaving it outside 24/7. Is this ok for now or is it a stupid idea?
Question 2 - I have looked on the Elegoo website and can see that it says the amperage of the Printer is 7.5amps. I was wondering if this seems high for a single device? I cant find the amperage of the Any cubic wash and cure station 3 anywhere. I would also need to plug in a heating band for the printer which again I cant find the amperage for. Does anyone know how I could find out these so not to create a fire risk.
Appreciate anyone who read all that and thanks for any help.

maybe not the right sub? but...i want to work in fashion so much, either as a designer or a stylist but i have no idea how to get there.
sometimes i do rough sketches of garments i would like to make but 1) i have no source of income and have been trying to get a job for about 2 years so i have no way of getting fabrics and other materials for my garments and 2) i feel like all my ideas are so generic and i have no talent for designing at all, i feel like everything i think of is just a cheap copy of things that already exist in common clothing stores in malls, even though i know they aren't. i know if i keep sketching all my ideas and keep looking for inspiration i'll eventually have a good number of sketches that i like, but if i'm not good i don't see what the point is.
i think i am better at styling but i literally have no connections and no credentials that i could even use to become a part-time stylist while i figure out my path. i do live near a big city although it is definitely not a fashion capital so there is no place to really volunteer or try to get an internship at that could help me push myself further in this career path.
i am 19 years old and i am currently a student so it's not like i have nothing going for me, but i would just regret it so much if i spent years working towards a degree and then in a field which i am not really passionate about when i could do something else that i am passionate about. i guess my question is do i go for it? do i try and pursue a career in fashion even if i'm starting from nothing? and if i should, how could i get closer to those dreams? thanks
