2024.11.29 00:40 TriviaTrekker1 23 [F4M] #WV USA Searching for Love, but My Dates Are Ghosting
Looking for a meaningful connection, but lately, it feels like my dates are more interested in disappearing than actually getting to know me.
I’m a fun loving, adventurous type who spends a lot of time at the gym and loves outdoor activities. I enjoy deep conversations, a good book, and making people laugh. But, I’ll be honest I’m tired of the ghosting game. I want someone who’s ready to build something real, not just play games.
If you’re someone who values communication, honesty, and maybe even a little bit of spontaneity, let’s chat! I’m looking for someone who’s ready to put in the effort and see where things go, without all the disappearing acts.

2024.11.29 00:40 Klutzy-Operation9285 young adult horror book in the Paris catacombs. I rented it from my school library in 7th grade around 2004ish
I rented a book from my school library in 7th grade, 2003-2004ish and it was a horror book similar to Christopher Pike’s books and it may even be one of his. It was about a group of teenagers that went partying and got lost in the Paris catacombs. There was some type of evil that I believe oozed green and would possess the teens and kill them in graphic ways. I remember the line “Max’s arm pinwheeled and broke at the elbow” I’m pretty sure the character’s name was Max but I’m not 100% sure.

2024.11.29 00:40 MeanCrab Smart switch and bulb combo
Looking to see if there is a budget option for a smart switch that will allow for natural on of with a button press, but will also leave a smart bulb with a power feed so they can be triggered to do colors or take other commands. It seems the innovelli will do this but they are like 50 bucks a switch? I have mostly kasa switches in the house and they work great but they do cut power to a smart bulb. Any link would be appreciated!

2024.11.29 00:40 GoodPristine377 Brown pex pipes and brown tub water
I've had hard water for ages and while new water softener got rid of iron (recent test), it is still is hard. Although initially I recall it lowered the hardness completely but now its back. Hot water turned back tub brown within 30 minutes, while the cold water turned it brown overnight. I'm replacing my hot water tank soon and am wondering what kind of filters or systems could help combat this. I have the blue/white scaling stuff. Frosted glass on shower ect. Currently have some sort of sulfer buster thing and my water softener. Also I should include that year's ago I've had two pinhole leaks in copper pipe I needed to repair. Any clues or hints would be great. Thanks! submitted by GoodPristine377 to WaterTreatment [link] [comments] |

2024.11.29 00:40 Flimsy-Attempt6954 Best cut your own Christmas tree places?
Yes I could go out in mah backyard and chop one down; but looking for a recommendations on the best place to bring the preteen and teen kiddos and make them miserable in the cold doing "boring" things like finding and cutting down our own tree. Big bonus points for places that have other jolly seasonal stuff too, be it cocoa, crafts, whatever. Anywhere south of Waterville works even better! Thanks!!

2024.11.29 00:40 Conflusedaf Nike Mercurial Vapor 16 Elite ($160) or Pro ($100ish)
Through Pro Direct Soccer, I’m able to get a pair of Vapor Elites for $160 and pros for about $95-$105 (depends on the color, before taxes)
I have a pair of Superflys 9 Pros that are about two years old, and they are pretty beat up. I prefer to get Nike because of that 2 year warranty, but I would be open to other brands.
Are there a major differences between the two that would warrant the extra $55-$65? I play about once or twice a week in just friendly matches between friends. I play on different natural and artificial fields, but mostly natural, sometimes solid or muddy ground. Any advice on which pair to pick with which ground type? Thanks

2024.11.29 00:40 Mailemanuel77 As somebody who is interested in converting, what should I know about Vatican II ?
Everybody talks about Vatican II. It's a very controversial topic. But what's actually Vatican II. What actually happened, what was proposed, what was changed, how was the Church before that ecumenical council. But not the generalities you can learn in a short video or quick reading. Nor just the obvious visible consequences/changes or the context in which it was celebrated. But to actually comprehend what Vatican II was. And why it is so important. How much and how can I properly and formally learn about Vatican II. Although it's controversies might represent a reason to not convert. I want to comprehend it. Instead of being a reason not to convert, it can strengthen my predisposition. After all, there are a thousand reasons to not be catholic but only a single one: Christ. Otherwise Pope Francis would already be a reason (of many) of why I wouldn't convert, yet I'm still persevering. I want to really comprehend what I am joining. Not simply accepting the romantic side of it, but accepting also it's dark realities. After all the intellectual tradition was one of the main aspects that lead me to conclude I must become catholic. To embrace the fullness of Truth, but to also embrace the light and the dark realities, to really develop a proper Thesis for the reconciliation of mankind with the Church. As the only way (Only if Jesus doesn't return within a few years/ decades) to save western civilization, is to return to it's roots, to return to her mother. After all, I have the same oppositions, the same problems with not only The Church but Christianity in general. But those same oppositions, since are most likely universal, they can be properly addressed, in order to reconcile a generation that no longer trust in anything. And how we can take actions in order to counteract the damage that has been done across the recent centuries, to build a better society that allows for liberty to pursue virtue that glorifies the Lord, instead of being constrained by oligarchs who want everything from us, and have propagated a false definition of what liberty really is. And have murdered our values with their relativism which only leads the youth to nihilism. And many other destructive and reactionary behaviors and thoughts. Although I've been feeling some changes, I still can't consider myself as an spiritual man, I'm very inclined towards a confrontational (yet conservative) rationalism that might be an obstacle to becoming a christian. But also a mean to militantly support Christianity. submitted by Mailemanuel77 to Catholicism [link] [comments] |
