2024.11.29 01:41 doormatstopper I am so embarrassed after my interview
This was my first interviewer ever and oh my god I am so embarrassed. This was for a lab technician interview and I kinda knew what the lab did bc of the description, but at the end of the interview (which was very rocky for me, lots of empty stares from the interviewers bc I just say whatever when I get nervous) they asked if I had any questions and I said “Yes, could you tell me about what your lab does” and I immediately regretted it because it sounded like I did no research on the lab. I was trying to go more along the lines of “I’ve read the job description and I know what the role would be in this lab, but I would still like to know more about what the lab does”. This company isn’t really known for lab work but they do have industrial labs throughout the country. I did tell them what I knew about the company in general during the interview which showed I researched about the company. But looking back at it I am so embarrassed to think that they would think I was clueless going into the interview. I also had no questions prepared besides that one and the working hours, but I just found out that questions are very important in an interview from the interviewee as well??

2024.11.29 01:41 ddbrown30 Resources for generating conflicts between NPCs with the party
In my current campaign, the party had a large ship full of NPCs, all with varied personalities and they regularly pick up more. I'm trying to come up with interesting conflicts between the NPCs but I'm getting nowhere. I'm can't get out of the rut of basic stuff like X is being too loud for Y or whatever. I also don't want these things to just be the PCs mediating disagreements or dealing with companion requests like it's a BioWare game.
I'm looking for recommendations for resources that could help me here.

I have an 05 infiniti g35 that is 5 speed automatic with manual shift mode.
The other day, I was driving on a narrow street and pulled into a driveway to turn around. When I tried to put the car in reverse, I accidentally switched it to manual mode, causing the gearshifter to get stuck. I had to press a small button by the shifter to unlock it and switch it back to automatic mode. Now, the car won't start. The engine cranks, but it won't turn over. The accesory lights and radio all still come on. , when I press the gas pedal, to hopefully help it start nothing happens. PLEASE HELP ME FIGURE OUT WHAT IS GOING ON.

I have about 300 games in AoE IV. In my first two seasons I was ranked low diamond.
However this season I improved a lot. I got to ConQ, hit 1483 points... Won against a couple of players that were ConQ III in previous seasons and overall I won about 30 games against ConQ players.
That is until 4-5 days ago when I suddenly started losing every game. To cut it short, I have just fallen to Platinum III.. I lost something like 20 of my last 25 games.
The problem is I don't feel I am playing worse. It's weird... I won every game against OoTD and HRE early in the season and against ConQ players and now I'm getting destroyed by low diamond and platinum players in the same matchups and build orders that I used to destroy ConQ players...
I went from 1550 matchmaking rating down to 1350... And I keep losing and losing.
I should probably just get some rest. Maybe take a few days off... But I was wondering: did this ever happen to any of you guys?
