Remote Management vs. Team Viewer

Phones are set up and appear on the MDM server, but when we start the phone we are not prompted for the username and password to connect to the remote management. I was previously using the free version (though it wasn't all that reliable), but had to stop when I was stuck on High Sierra & Monterey. Anyway, now I'm about to be on Sequoia on both machines & was wondering if I should switch to Apple Remote Desktop ... never used it, but wondering if y'all have any opinions about which is easier.
