my black mouth curr mix is 4 yrs old, she was born and adopted in 2020 so we didn't do a great job of socializing her because we really couldn't. she had some separation anxiety when we got her, but slowly she started developing intense anxiety around other people, especially kids, and dogs too
she's never been dangerous/bitten anyone, but she barks at anyone coming towards my family. with other dogs, she can get really anxious and start barking at them too, especially if they're bigger than her (she's a medium-sized dog).
the other day we had people over and left her in a room alone for a few minutes and she started to scratch at the carpet to dig her way out of the room. she's only okay with one family member who sleeps over only if she doesn't look at her or touch her
once, we took her to a doggie daycare for a "trial" run before we went on vacation and they denied her because she growled at an employee when he tried to leash her
we've taken her to dog training classes as a 2 yr old, which helped, but it was too expensive to continue. she's gotten better since she was a puppy, especially her separation anxiety with my family, but we wish she could be able to walk around during family gatherings or even take her to a dog park one day. any tips or ways we can deal with this?

2024.11.29 02:30 MiscGuy2 Recently diagnosed with social anxiety disorder and I feel lost
I originally seeked help for an ADHD assessment after thinking that I might have it, and after 3 months or so of talking to a therapist I finally got my results.
I was told I have social anxiety disorder, alongside a perfectionism mindset which has most likely caused the ADHD-like symptoms I originally noticed.
I was recommended to start therapy, which I plan on doing, and my therapist also brought up medication. I have heard of it, honestly it scares me a bit so I haven’t decided if I want to seek help with that. I definitely agree with this diagnosis, looking back on my life it’s extremely obvious, but I still feel like I’m in denial about it and don’t want to accept it out of shame or something weird like that.
I guess I am looking for advice on how I should proceed, and if anyone has experienced this denial before.

Current config:
Box 1
Wire A (2 conductor) - 1 wire to bundle 1, 1 wire to bundle 2
Wire B (2 conductor and ground) - 1 wire was in switch, other two are cut
Wire C (3 conductor) - 1 wire to bundle 1, 1 wire to bundle 2, 1 wire to switch
Bundle 1 contains line, pigtail to switch
Box 2
3 wires in to switch, 2 are hot when the 3 wires in Box 1 are tied together
Unsure what the third wire is (possibly load)
I have Zooz switches elsewhere but those won't work here. Any ideas on something that could work? I may need more for a few other areas. Thanks!

I am cautiously optimistic that (in decreasing order) 1. this is not a scam; 2. the good reviews on Reddit are real 3. that some of the issues from the pre-production units noted by more reputable YouTubers have gone away.

My partner and I viewed a property and told the real estate agent what our max number would be, which was about $100k less than the CV. The property was struggling to sell so thought we might have a chance, but ultimately decided to walk away as wasn’t for us. The real estate agent was very pushy and that also put us off. The deadline was Tuesday.
Today the agent called and asked if we wanted to put in an offer - I said no. He said our max number would definitely get the house. Again said no and he said something very strange - that the house was under offer and the owners accept the current offer - but we should also put in an offer because our max number was more. I was like wait I’m really confused why would be put an offer in if there’s already one accept! He said if that one falls through you can get the house.
I got the feeling he was still trying to get more money, and be disingenuous to the people who already put an offer in. I get having a back up offer might not be illegal, but it seemed really dodgy and morally not right.
So my question is, can real estate agents solicit more offers after the owner has accepted another offer?
