Im looking at putting together a pc for sim racing. I have pedals, wheel, etc so it's just the computer I need help with. Wanting it to be able to use vr as well. My budget is around $1500 but can go up to $2000 if it needs to. I'm planning to use assetto corsa and Iracing for reference. This would be my first time building a pc so I have no clue where to start.

2024.11.29 03:30 desporkable adding better substrate to a tank that already has gravel
hi all, pretty much just looking for some advice on this topic. i have a 10 gallon with one betta in it and a layer of gravel at the bottom, and no plants apart from duckweed currently. i really want to add dirt or sand to my tank so i can start planting it, but I’m unsure the best and simplest way to make the switch. can i just add dirt/sand on top of the gravel with all 10 gallons in there? i imagine there will be a lot of stuff in the water column if i did that. should i start setting up a temporary tank for him while i do this? i have a 5 gallon i could put the gravel into and the same water and filter and everything, so the dirt has a chance to settle and cycle a bit cause i’ve heard gravel holds onto important bacteria. i don’t know, i’m mostly worried about causing unnecessary stress to my betta in this process, he’s on the older side i believe. any advice is super appreciated.

I’ve never really tracked my sleep till recently because I usually get a goods nights rest. As the last 7 months I have slept around 4 hours a night & now recently, I don’t even sleep at night and only during the day. Since I have slept during the day, I try to sleep as much as possible and the most I’ve slept is around 6 hours. I felt amazing after hitting that 6 hour mark.
I’m sleep deprived at the moment. I know I need to see a doctor, and I know I need a new mattress. Im just broke right now but hoping not for long. Any tips or tricks for the moment would be good for me. I refuse melatonin, just a personal preference.
I’m jealous of normal everyday people who can go to sleep at a decent time and wake up bright eyed and bushy tailed. I want to work my way to feeling like that. I’ve never understood how sleep is so important until recently. I’ve under appreciated it. So yea, any tips or tricks to get closer and staying at 7+ hours of sleep a night & on time at bedtime would be greatly appreciated.

So for context, I’ve been on birth control for over 4 years now. I’m 22 years/o and a couple of months ago (starting around July/August maybe) my periods have become randomly irregular. I used to always get my period around the same time (within 1-3 days) and it would typically last 3-5 days, but now I either don’t get them at all or the few times I did in the past few months I bled for like 1 day. I take the fairly consistently - hardly ever miss a pill and when I do take it late it’s usually never more than 2 hours late. I taking what’s called norethindrone acetate estradiol or more commonly known as loestrin. I am sexually active but use condoms 98% of the time and the times he doesn’t use one, he pulls out. I know the pull out method isn’t a guarantee of safety and told my bf I’d only like to use condoms from now on. This month my period is a week late, and I’m starting my new pack of bc tmr… I am worried sick and have a bad tendency to overthink. I will be getting a test on Monday and have intentions to set up a telehealth call with my OBGYN to talk about this but can anyone provide any reassurance and/or can relate to this? I just don’t know what’s wrong with me and it’s stressing me out.

2013 second round draft pick Madison Bowey came with a lot of talent, from leading Kelowna to the Memorial Cup Finals in 2015 where they lost to the Anthony Cirelli led Oshawa Generals to being a part of our 2018 Stanley Cup team. While he did not play a single playoff game, he held down the fort until Kempny came in. His gruesome injury during the 2016-17 for the Bears likely led to his inability to reach his max potential. Anyways, during the 2018-19 season, he was traded to Detroit along with a 2020 second round pick for Nick Jensen and a 2019 fifth round pick. Nick Jensen was a great defenseman for us until his final season when injuries started to affect his on-ice performance and he wasn't able to help us at the end of the season after getting injured against Tampa and missing the last few games and most of the playoffs. However, his stalwart defensive play made him attractive to Ottawa and the Senators were willing to send us Jakob Chychrun in exchange for Jensen and a 2026 third round pick. Jakob Chychrun has been phenomenal for us this season and I hope he re-signs. But wait, what about that other draft pick we got from Detroit for Madison Bowey, that 2019 fifth rounder? Well, the Caps used that and their own fourth rounder to move up in the 2019 draft to select Aliaksei Protas, our top line winger!

1- lvl 99 EXP What about a 4th level to all perks, but only way to get it, is to use said maxed out perk in game. And it has one use, then you have to level it up again. Could just be a perfected version of the perk like taekwandoor would be a staggered walking state after the increased stun, on the first door slam of the game. Or Scout doesn't have a down side, until you run out of stamina 3 times. Some could unlock golden Items for the perk holder, but you have to find them. Like a golden fuse/valve can't be ripstalled. Golden lockpick is a free quick hands perk while using it.
2 - Next map/mode Tie-in achievements in the new mode to unlock Skins/Executes for the main game. Maybe have a Free version of the map, as well as a "Season Pass" map version where people can get rewards for completing achievements. Some one that enjoys the free game, might want the skins that only the purchased version has access to, but they have the achievement already. Soon as they buy, they get credit. There would be free version of a couple rewards.
