2024.11.30 00:48 tacoprojectile Liberty 4 Pro Reset HearID Results Back to Neutral
While I appreciate the idea of automatically adjusting the eq to compensate for hearing loss, I'm finding the result of the compensation to be annoying to my ears. The HearID picked up a small amount of below average hearing at low frequencies, and it's compensating by automatically applying a low frequency bump. I don't doubt the results of the test; they make sense to me. However, I think there is some sort of interaction happening between the low frequency boost and the tendency for consumer audio devices to reproduce *real* bass frequencies with *fake* bass frequencies (higher frequency harmonics). The result, to my ears at least, is a significantly boomy and slightly muddy sound even on a custom flat eq setting. I like my audio eq to be pretty flat almost to the point of boring unless I'm fixing for a noticeable sound defect. Now that I've done the HearID test, I can't find a way to reset the results back to neutral. Anyone know how to do that? Is my only option to create a 2nd Anker account and link the earbuds to that, or is it going to force me to redo the test no matter what? If I just cheat my way through the test, will that work? I'm afraid of making things worse.

The King of these halls poured all his resources into a hole. A mistake, perhaps, but not an ounce of regret Can be seen on his face.
She stumbles out her door, asking the time of day. And crumbs on the floor—they wonder too: Has she always been this way? And I wonder too.
This is where I come from; this is what I do. Every single day, it makes me think of you. Maybe someday, you’ll see it too.

Last year I was in an abusive marriage, the worst choice I ever made…I’m relieved that it’s done, however while I was in that relationship I made a friend, I felt attraction towards her but never went for it cause even tho my past “relationship” was open I didn’t wanted to ruin our friendship, time went by, my divorce was finally over after I find out how twisted was my ex ( from sleeping with other people without telling me, exposing me to things, and being physically abusive not to the point to hit me but to force things in bed when I already stated didn’t wanted to do). In June my friend confessed her feelings and it was a two way street, we been dating since then and it has been so wonderful and amazing BUT is long distance so eventually next year im thinking in moving to her city cause I wanna be with her, where I live is too expensive & in first place I didn’t wanted to move here I did it cause my ex told me if I didn’t moved here I will be stopping her from living in her dream city ( she’s a very wealthy woman and I’m an immigrant here) but I’m scared to move because even tho they are two completely human beings I’m afraid to start again and I don’t wanna lose her, I do go to therapy and take meds for my ptsd, I see a life with her and never felt this way for no one but I’m afraid cause if this doesn’t work out I feel like will be my last straw ( I am being dramatic but for real no one ever has loved me without hurting me) so a part of me feels like is this even possible ? And also wanna tell my friends without getting the love yourself first because I have been working on myself and I think I’m worth it to be loved even tho I’m still working on my self.
