Seeking clarification from experts
Basically i made a credit card purchase in a foreign currency (zero fx fees) that was subsequently refunded a few days later by the merchant.
Since I made the transaction in a foreign currency, I understand that I am exposed to the spread and is expected to bear a loss when receiving the refund.
However, my friend has been able to dispute the differences and get the spread refunded each time without fail.
I am fairly certain about undertaking fx risk in a foreign currency transaction, but since my friend is able to provide bank statements that show otherwise -
1) have i been over-contributing to banks profits?
2) how is it possible that the banks credit the differences to make up a full refund to him on merchant refunded foreign currency transactions?

I have a potential parasitic drain on my 03 Yukon. Already killed one battery. I'll troubleshoot further, but I may bandaid the problem in the meantime using a battery disconnect when the vehicle isn't being used. I would prefer a remote-operated disconnect.
Are there any major problems with disconnecting the battery often? Obviously all the radio presets and seat/mirror memories will be wiped each time, and the OBD2 warnings will always be on.
Also, has anyone else installed a remote disconnect and found one that fits and works well with these dumb side-post batteries?

Hi folks I'm looking at buying my first 3D printer. I don't really have a budget but this is just something I want to try out so there is a chance that my 3D printer will get some use for a week then collect dust most of the year. I made this mistake buying with Cricut Maker 3 and an Epson ET-15000, I got well in over my head thinking I would use these products more than I really do and they mostly collect dust (though I am glad I have them whenever I do need them).
So normally my mind would go straight to the A1 but knowing that 3D printing is just something I wanna dip my feet in I was curious if the A1 mini would be good enough? What am I missing out on if I get the A1 mini instead of the A1? I don't understand the difference between the comboed versions though, it looks like they're just spool holders?
One that I want to do is print stuff that is more than 1 color. For example, think of a Pikachu. It's a pokemon that is yellow but has black markings on its tail and red dots on its face, along with black eyes with white pupils.
That is 4 colors just to recreate a Pikachu. Is this something the A1 mini could handle? Is it a pain to change colors during mid-print?
