Hi Everyone,
I know that with cata the ranges have increased to where you can have 50k gold on you, but I have approx 400k i want to bring and only 3 characters.
Are guild transfers a thing in this era of the game? I.E if i make a guild and deposit all of my gold in the g-bank, can i move that to avoid having to liquidate my gold into purchased AH items and transfer over with a bunch of stuff?

I signed up to XFi complete which includes a modem today (11/29). I was given the option of picking up the modem or having it shipped for additional $15 fee. I told the chat rep that I would pick up the modem and he proceeds to tell me I can go to the local UPS store to pick up aa soon as tomorrow (11/30).
My question is, was the rep mistaken? Shouldn't I go to an Xfinity store to pick up? Or will xfinity send the modem to UPS so I may pick it up?

I want to buy a nice japanese knife or 2 for my dad for christmas. After beginning to do some research on this sub and google I realized I don't know enough to make an informed decision in the amount of time I have to buy the gifts before christmas. I could really use some help and everyone on this sub seem to know what they're talking about when it comes to these knives. But I don't know which ones to buy or what website I should purchase them from. I was thinking of spending around 1000 usd. If that buys one really nice one that's fine or if I can afford more than just one or two or three that would be great. If anyone here could give me recommendations of what to buy and where to buy them I would really appreciate it. He doesn't have any high quality japanese chef's knives yet so I would want to start by getting him at least a general purpose knife (santoku, gyoto, bunka, kiritsuke.) Performance and quality would be most important but if it looks really cool that would be a huge plus. Please help me out, I promise once I acquire the knife or knives I will make a post with pics on this sub. Thank you

Specs Asus B505M-A wifi board 2 oloy 8 gig ram Windows SN570 Blue 2tb hard drive Ryzen 5600(old cpu) Ryzen 5700x(new cpu) Evga 750 b5 psu Gigabyte r66 eagle 8gd cpu
Problem Old cpu broke got new cpu but wont properly boot, stuck on asus logo and cant enter bios, could be thermal paste problem, but I checked and there was no thermal paste on pins or in socket
Gpu is fine
Another forum said to remove a stick of ram, bc it was boot looping before, but after i did that it got stuck on asus logo. Tried removing cmos battery for 15 min and it didnt reset
