Do you have someone in your family who loves gardening? Here's a cool gift idea I came across. Bonus points if they watch the TV show Alone because it was created by Nicole who's been on the show twice (if you haven't seen the show you should give it a try, it's an interesting concept).
It's a gardening kit with seeds for 10 different plants that can be used to make various herbal remedies. It also comes with a book written by Nicole where she goes over everything you can make with the plants from ointments and teas all the way to essential oils and infusions. It's not something you'd find in a normal store so it makes for a unique gift especially if the person you're buying it for is a fan of natural remedies.
I ordered a kit for my Mom's birthday earlier in the year and she was a massive fan of it. She now makes her grandkids sleepy tea before bed whenever they sleep over and always offers us some substance she makes from the feverfew if we complain about a headache. I think she's probably made every recipe in the book and it's only been 9 months.

Last night, I had this strange dream that I was running a race on a giant treadmill in the middle of the ocean. The sky kept changing colors—red, green, purple—and every time it did, the treadmill got faster. At one point, dolphins were swimming alongside me, cheering me on (yes, cheering). Then, just as I was about to reach the “finish line,” which was somehow floating in the air, I tripped and fell… but instead of hitting the treadmill, I started floating in the sky.
It wasn’t scary, but it felt so vivid and random. Does anyone know what something like this might mean? Is it just my brain being creative, or could it symbolize something deeper?
Curious to hear your thoughts or similar experiences!

What happens if a customer complains that items are missing from an order a dasher delivers?
I ordered 15 canvases from Michaels in their BF sale today... they only gave me the option to do the 'same day delivery' which uses doordash I think. I received 12 canvases, and unfortunately wasn't home when they were delivered otherwise I could have said something in person.
There was a paper receipt attached, which shows the 12 items they delivered, a weird space and then it lists 13th item (missing), and no mention of the last two that are missing. I was charged the full price.
I really do not believe the delivery person kept them, he called me because he was worried it was the wrong house and sounded 'new' and really kind and thoughtful. I'm worried about complaining to Michaels in case they make the driver pay for them.

Hi - my father is almost 73 and was diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer. He had his first Lupron injection a few days ago and just had a bone scan today. We meet with the oncologist Monday so I know we will get more info then but I’m hoping to get some understanding of the preliminary results that just came in. For more background, when first diagnosed a few weeks ago the urologist said his PSA was in the 50s, that the cancer had spread beyond the prostate to his pelvic bones, and that the oncologist may or may not want to do chemo so I suppose we will find out in a few days. I am just completely, utterly terrified - thank you in advance for your help, reddit.
Bone scan results: Scattered axial and appendicular skeletal metastatic disease includes but is not necessarily limited to the thoracolumbar spine most pronounced at L3, the bilateral ilia, the left scapula versus an adjacent rib, the bilateral acetabular regions, and potentially the bilateral femurs although left femoral uptake could also be secondary to degenerative disease
