I have a Honda Pioneer with tracks that I use to groom the hill behind our house. I also lug the kids and friends up the hill to come back down. It works great with 4-5 people, but I'm not a fan of putting the endless hours on it for just 1 person...
So, I'm looking for sled recommendations that would tow 1-2 people up a 'green run', but might also be usable in the backcountry. Not necessarily a pow surfer or missel, but something that is capable of occasional off-trail riding. Budget is 5-7k. I'm not brand loyal and I'm also decent with maintaining/repairing.

I have an HP headset that doesn't really work with wmr and I want to play steam vr games with it, but many games are a mix of both wmr and steam vr so they work just fine but on other games they only run smoothly using steam as the open xr, but the my vr headset doesn't work properly enough to play the games, games like rec room run just fine but something like into the radius 2 (I know it's beta) are super jitty but play just fine. so I'm wondering how to get away from the wmr, aswell as before microsoft drop support entirely.

2024.11.30 02:37 M3rc_Nate First build in 10+ years, can I get some help regarding CPU's? (1440P gaming)
Hey,
So, my current gaming PC can't keep up anymore with its Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H [LGA1155] mobo, MSI GTX 970 gpu, and i7-3770K cpu. These BF deals + incoming foreign trade policies that will make electronics more expensive have me strongly considering pulling the trigger on a new gaming PC. But I've been out of the game in terms of keeping track of what components are good/bad/etc.
Here's the important info:
- My gaming: AAA titles (Witcher, Mass Effect, Hell Divers 2, Star Wars, Cyberpunk, etc)
- My resolution: currently 1080P 60Hz but 1440k is appealing to me. I don't see any point in going 4k or beyond 140Hz. So, no need for anything I get to be 4k playable.
- In terms of video settings, I'm not an "ultra settings or I won't play it!" type of gamer. But, I'm not out here buying a new gaming PC to play everything on medium. Ideally my new PC plays 1440P AAA games at ~90 FPS with the settings that matter on high. I don't want to invest in a rig that can do 60FPS today cause in a few years as games get even more detailed (or poorly optimized) I might be playing at just 45FPS. That's not acceptable when dropping $1k on a gaming PC, imo.
- I think I wanna go with AMD cpu (just seems like the better choice for gaming) and I think I want to go AM5. Jumping onto the dead AM4 platform hoping this new PC lasts as long as my current one has seems more iffy than just going AM5. Even if it's a bit more expensive.

- I realize the GPU is an important aspect to this question but I am waiting to see if Intel's Battlemage turns out to be a viable option worth getting or not. If not, my budget would be in the $300-400 range, but honestly whatever is a great bang for buck that plays AAA games in 2K at 80+ FPS is what I'd go for.
Is the Ryzen 5 7600X (for $190) going to be a limiting factor given what I've said above? Or, is it meaningfully wiser to go with a different CPU? I would normally deep dive research CPU's, GPU's and so on but the BF deals will be ending very soon and so I'm trying to crowd source the knowledge.
