Hello,
My family of four rides bicycles, at best, 10 times a year. We currently have a truck mount bike rack that is a little bit of a pain for me, but my wife, who is short, is unable to do it by herself. Anyway, she wants to get a hitch and trailer (estimating total cost at least $1000). Not sure if it's worth it. My daughters are 11 and 13, so if we do this, will probably use this another 4-5 years. We have a Honda CRV, if that's releveant. Considering just taking off front wheel. Any thoughts? I have no experience with a hitch. Wondering what the community would do.

Dogs Fighting. Please help.
Confused anxious and heartbroken, unsure what to do. Our two family dogs, 3 and 4 both female, have been getting into fights. Theres never any precedent to it either, they will be calmly sitting next to each other on the couch and suddenly the older one is trying to rip pieces off the younger one. The first time was about a year ago, roughly four or five times since then.
The dogs are both on trazadone in the hope to calm them down and prevent this, but this just keeps happening. We’ve tried medication and we’re trying to see a behaviorist, but so far nothing is working.
We can’t go on like this. It’s too expensive to keep taking the non-instigator to the emergency vet to get stitched up and we can’t live like this constantly being anxious about them fighting. It would break all our hearts to put the instigator down, but we don’t know what else to do. Is there any other option we can consider? (Before anyone asks, there are no shelters around us that will take and not euthanize the dog)
The worst part is that the two dogs are genuinely the best of friends outside of this. They’re very codependent and struggle when apart
