Is she named after the cat on Pet Sematary? Yes. Does that mean she's acts likes said cat? Only sometimes!! No, but really, she's a sweetheart. To me. She occasionally acts for loves from my wife, but it's rare. I am her human. But on her terms. She's never been mean to people, but can be a bit of a bully to other animals. She's getting better about it though. The only thing she loves more than licking my head, is chewing plastic. Tape is her favorite snack. Due to my own negligence in the past, she's eaten an ENTIRE rubber snake (she was fine), she has gotten a fishing lure stuck in her paw ON MEMORIAL DAY, and has eaten the little tinsel cat balls. That was all within the 1st year after adopting her. She also has stranger danger, and hides in the drop down ceiling in the basement, resulting in 10 broken ceiling tiles, cuz for a hot minute, she was quite chonky. But she's been on a diet, and has lost weight, so that helps lol.
These days, we know her well enough to be fully aware of what's laying around. I remove tape from boxes immediately. But gee whiz, even at 7 years old, she's comparable to owning a puppy.
But I love her. So dang much. And as frustrating as she can be sometimes, I couldn't imagine a life without her.

My game runs smoothly and I’m above the minimum system requirements. I play on steam. The game can crash at any point in time and is never preceded by any stutters or frame drops. I find it sad when I see so many people purchasing transcription and speech to text apps, when it comes with Notability Plus. Otter, one of the most popular speech to text apps, wants $18 a month or $130 a year do something that Notability can already do for $20 a year plus so much more. I have been putting Notability through its paces and I must say it's doing a bang up job converting audio to text. I even have it converting podcasts when I want to extract excerpts for study.

I used up all 6 practice SAT on blue book and now I’m not sure where I should continue finding material and more practice test to study after I finish going over all the questions I got wrong. Is Khan Academy a good site to use? I know they reuse some of the questions from blue book so idk how much Khan will help me.

I have a hazelnut pastry cream I made by steeping hazelnuts in the milk and I plan to add some chopped hazelnuts to it before assembly, then topping with a whipped ganache. But I'm wondering if I should turn the pastry cream into a mousseline. What do y'all think?

2024.11.30 03:40 Smitty258 Front Component Install. Tweeters work, woofers don't.
 | So I decided to do my front component swap today (keeping factory amp). The plan was to find the speaker wires on their way to the door, splice into them to put in my crossovers, and run new speaker wires to the tweeters. I started with the passenger door, dug around behind the glove box and found the bundle of wires that went into the door (I followed this bundle of wires all the way to the door grommet). These wires came from a WHITE wire harness behind the kick plate pictured here: Wire harness I spliced into. Between harness and door. Found the Green/Yellow and Blue/Yellow coming out of this harness, spliced into each, tested all connections for continuity before hooking up my crossover. Wired everything up, and turned the radio on. The tweeter is running like it should, but I have NOTHING coming out of the woofer in the door. Checked everything again and tried the other crossover from the kit. Same thing... I'm stumped. The only thing I can think of is possibly I'm catching the signal on the wrong side of a high pass filter for the factory tweeter, but everything I'm reading on that says that the high pass is built into the tweeter itself? Hey so I'm writing a paper on how political and police corruption helped lead to the rise in crime in Gilded Age Chicago, and I've run into a snag. Whenever I try to find primary sources, I'm blocked by a pay wall. Is there any recommendations of data bases I could use to get sources without having to pay? I've tried like newspaper archives and stuff but they ask for money and I'm a broke college student lol so that's a little difficult.
Note for Admins) I am not asking for anyone to do my paper for me or anything, just a recommendation for a none paywall data base for primary sources.
