The foreigners who take trips for a couple weeks to a month, how do you link up Chinese payment systems to your Western bank accounts? I'm assuming people don't convert cash anymore and try to use that?

I am reading a book that is really eerily reminiscent of what is going on now the way Tr*** is stacking his cabinet with the sorts of people that are uniformly and formally dedicated to the agenda he said he "knew nothing about".
The book is called Defying Hitler (1939) and it's by Sebastian Haffner (born Raimond Pretzel 1907). It was never printed in the USA until 2003. I DON'T THINK it ever saw the light of day in Germany til after the war. The first half of the book (it's such a beautifully written piece of prose writing) talks about what life was like in general terms for the average german from like 1919 til 1932. Then it really starts getting interesting. The author says it himself on the frontispiece of the book "Germany is nothing. Each individual German is everything." The same can be said of us here, or anywhere. He tries to talk about how people tried (and failed) to deal with the moral maze of living in Germany in that time, the ones who were against it all, in trying to defy Hitler and the right wing National Socialists who, if you think about it, perfected social engineering to a T down to the very name of the party.
I totally think there is a corollary between the rise of the National Socialist Party in Germany in 1932 and the disgusting malicious lying ways they pulled it off and the rise of the same kind of people which exist in this country now and who got elected using the same technique and media houses.
But I am not saying there's going to be another genocide like there was against all those different people, people who were not Herronvolke--! But there is the echo of the same kind of race and gender and culture baiting by the majority white assholes in our hard-rightwing party whose bible is greed and whose anthem are the pack of lies the undereducated masses of working class people in this country find utterly hypnotizing. I blame the lazy establishment self-serving financially corrupt pigs in the 'corporate' Democrat party in both houses for abandoning the Democrat traditions and losing touch with the blood and bone, salt of the earth, working class people they fought and won for for over 50 years.
Going back to the book--buy the book!! No summary can convey what Haffner ultimately is able to say! What Hitler started doing in the the mid 30's is where we're at with these sick rightwing fascist assholes who took over the GOP. Don't even get me started on the fuckwit Christian part of the group.
Tr*** is going to reshape and dissolve a lot of shit in that corrosive acid of his and his cronies. At this point, in my long-held view, it's going to take a huge societal breakdown--which his policies are guaranteed to cause and the concomitant elimination of the social safety net that was created as a shield against the excesses of this very class of disgusting inhumane savages, a societal breakdown like the one we had in the 1930's but far worse, for the American working classes to chuck the lazy spineless corporate Democrat assholes--the purest unadulterated scum assholes, betrayers like Nancy Pelosi, feeding themselves on the lobby groups dirty money in order to take back that party and restore to it its original mandate.

A guy I asked out and met for dinner once never contacted me again. Even though on that first date we spent four hours together talking and he even mentioned "next time" going to do things together.
Last week we walked past each other on the street and he ignored me but when I messaged him about it he said he honestly didn't see me and doesn't feel bothered by me. It was late at night and pretty dark so it could be possible but I don't really believe he didn't see me. So while my feelings for him aren't the same I am interested in trying a fwb type of situation with him. The problem is how do I even approach him with this idea when maybe he never liked me at all?

Hi! Long story short, my partner is currently in a financially and emotionally abusive household, and things are.. rough. Their mental health is deteriorating rapidly due to stress, causing them to be unable to work some days due to the stress making them physically ill, and their mom (who they live with) is threatening to kick them out into a dangerous city and negative temps if they don't get back to work (they have 3 jobs) and keep adding to a joint bank account she can access.
This is urgent, as they have no other family, friends, shelters, or a car to stay in. We're hoping to get them enough to move to me (several states away) instead, as I'm currently the closest and have a car. I also have a job lined up for them in my city. We just aren't sure how to make the jump to get them here on so few resources.
So.. advice? Has anyone been in a similar situation before, and if so how did you survive it? Any ideas for what we can try? Local resources for them are really limited, so we're kinda running out of ideas, as most of what I came up with depended on that.

Every year my boss has a Halloween party, so my co workers and I were invited. My one co workefriend bother is really cute had a mini crush on him, I believe all the co workers know this. So one of the friends who was invited because she knew the boss always tried to hit on all the guys and so her costume was Sandy from Grease and I was Minnie Mouse. The Sandy girl went up to the co workers hot brother while we were all getting ready and said to him "you could be my Danny (which Sandy and Danny are a thing in grease if you don't know the movie)" and he tells her "I could've been Mickey." I was alittle taken back from the comment and she seemed offended, not sure if that was his way of saying he liked me or just telling her off. Some advice? Never asked him about it since his sister is my good friend and didn't wanna make things awkward

So my dad got me a code for the handsome collection for my birthday and I booted it up, then immediately went to look at the dlc’s to see if I needed to re-download anything.
I saw the Lilith fight for sanctuary dlc said free, so I clicked on it and it still says $14.99. Is that what it’s supposed to say or is my Xbox bugging out? I’m on the series s if that helps.
