OK OK I know this issue has been discussed here previously but this past semester’s influx of students has renewed this problem for me: Does anyone else feel like the traffic light coordination across town makes NO sense?
My commute from downtown to outside the loop takes 45 minutes during rush hour when it should take 15 minutes max. Most of this time is spent sitting at red lights when there’s absolutely no cross traffic. I’ll also be arbitrarily caught by red light after red light on Atlanta highway.
In many towns and cities I’ve been in, it seems the traffic lights are coordinated to allow a steady stream of green lights on certain roads in/out of town depending on the time of day. Wouldn’t it be great for traffic to hit one green light on Atlanta highway and then sail through the rest out of town?
Can we do anything about this?

Read the deals terms online, yourself, otherwise you will be misinformed. That being said, I scored a sweet deal today, Black Friday, at Verizon online. Currently have two lines, unlimited plus, one of which has an older free phone contract attached and the second line is a BYOD deal for $15 less per month. Plus I just received a text message to renew our loyalty discount at $10 per month per line, plus I currently get the military veterans discount ($35 for 2 lines, soon to be $40 for 3 lines). No add ons.
The deal for a third line could not be passed up, ended up reducing my bill by $5 or about the same (after taxes). 2024.11.30 03:42 zon871 I need help. I attempted to fix the drift on my ps5 controller and made things worse. (I think)
I tore down the controller with no issues. Then after cleaning the white discs and the part they go into (I don't know the names), I had trouble getting it to click back into place. After struggling for a while, it clipped in. But the joystick would feel like its clipping on something while rotating and making a bad click sound. I google searched the issue and came across a YouTube video describing an issue that resembled mine and the solution he offered was at the time of trying to get the panels to click back, I probably bent the metal housing walls and just needed to pry them out a little. I did it and it solved those issues. But now the direction of what is registering is all out of wack. When I press down on the stick it input that fine but I'll start moving rapidly left. I'll have 10 secs of everything being fine, followed by having no control whatsoever. Please help. This is my (no exaggeration) seventh controller in 3 years that has developed drift.
