so i was 2 days in to pokemon white 2, and it came to a point where the auto saves stopped working and i had to restart(i know that’s my fault for not saving) but after i restarted about 2 hours in eventually my game froze and a the game pad itself just didn’t work, went through the reddit and tried all the solutions and nothing worked, i even tried to just restart the game another time but it would just freeze on the start screen.i decided to delete delta and redownloaded it. tried the same rom and it froze again. so obviously i downloaded a diffrent rom to restart the game AGAIN. and again, the game froze on its start screen without the gamepad working. does anyone have a solution for this 😭😭

While waiting on the paperwork to clear, I’m wondering what the most effective and useful threaded muzzle device would be? I will probably go with an A1 or A2 style birdcage flash hider but I was checking to see if anyone had any other suggestions. I'm trying to track down a mobile puzzle game I played on my iPad between 2011 and 2014. Here's what I remember:
Type of game: Puzzle/Adventure, set in a haunted mansion.
Main setting: The game took place during the night in a mansion. There were several floors to explore, each with puzzles to solve (for example, a puzzle in a bathroom involving the bathtub).
Outdoor areas: Towards the end, you could explore outside. I remember a puzzle involving a stone block in some bushes.
Beginning of the game: I think it started at the front door of the mansion, where you had to solve a puzzle (probably to find a key or unlock it).
Graphics style: Realistic for the time, with an atmospheric and somewhat oppressive ambiance, but not scary.
Sound: It had creepy sound effects (creaking, wind, etc.), but not much in terms of music.
Main character: You were alone, with no interactions with other characters.
I've already searched for titles like Haunted Manor or Mystery Manor, but they don't seem to match exactly. If anyone remembers a game like this or knows a title that fits this description, it would be amazing to get some help! Thanks in advance!

Bought today the game and loving it so far, but just have one problem, when trying to travel to the various sections of the ship, the loading goes very very slow and when reaching 100% it basically stops. Had no problems with loadings otherwise on planets etc.. anyone knows how to solve? (Sorry for the english)

My skin is finally starting to clear up (thank you tret and spironolactone!) and I’m looking for a “my skin but better” product. I still have the occasional zit and some hyperpigmentation that is healing, but I’d like a lighter weight option than foundation. Should I be looking for a skin tint or a tinted moisturizer?
Also, I’d love any recommendations! I have fair neutral skin, it’s combination but leans dry due to the tret. Ideally I’d like something longer-lasting. I’m also hoping to stay around $25 or under.

2024.12.01 00:52 reidalamode I’m a content creator, and I got scammed. How do I prevent this in the future?
I hate to admit it, but I think I got scammed. I’m an adult content creator and recently I’ve been posting to subreddits that allow self promotion, cause my accounts are fairly new and I’m extremely short on money. I posted a picture of myself in one of these subreddits and shortly after, a redditor DM’d me about buying some of my clothes which is not unusual in this line of work. We messaged on Reddit for a little bit before he requested we message on Kik- to which I agreed (probably my first mistake).
From there, we spent an entire night talking and I sent some pictures and videos. Keep in mind, I charge very little for this kind of stuff. He was really nice and promised me more than I asked for. I told him I could send it to him on an adult website because Kik and other social media platforms don’t have a system to make messages locked until a fee is paid. He said he doesn’t use adult websites because his bank details were leaked. Fine, I’ll send a few and if he sends me money on Paypal I’ll send more, right?
It eventually gets really late into the night and I’ve definitely sent him more than I should have without payment. I ask about his job- why he has so much money to spend on girls on the internet- and he gives the vague answer of “I’m really into stocks and crypto.” I don’t know why that didn’t immediately ring the alarm in my brain but I’m broke and desperate for money- he was offering a months rent for the clothes, videos, and pictures.
I tell him I need sleep, I’ll talk to him later. As I’m logging off, I notice his account is one day older than mine- and I had only made mine that night. I’m crapping myself at this point thinking, “damn, I probably just got scammed hard.”
To my surprise, he messaged me in the morning asking about how I slept. We talked a little more but ultimately I was pretty busy. That night I’m more able to talk so we chat and I ask him about the money. He says something about his bank needing 24 hours to process the payment into his account for him to be able to spend it. It’s definitely a scam to me at this point but I’m definitely not gonna send anymore pictures unless he pays me. I tell him I’m extremely tired and going to bed.
Today I woke up- no messages, blocked me on Reddit and probably Kik too, but I’m not sure how to tell. No money, no trace of his existence. All I can do at this point is report him on Kik. I have no idea if I can share his username here (probably not), but I can’t report him because he has me blocked.
Let me clear: I’m not upset that he scammed me. I’m upset that he promised me more money than what I asked for, more than he could pay for and he never gave me a dime. I wasn’t asking for more than $20- for about 15 pictures and videos, around 5 minutes of videos in total.
I’ve always been able to spot a scam way in advance- but this time around I guess not. He was extremely nice, complimented me a lot and offered to buy my clothes (which I never sent). I’ve been struggling financially after losing my job and in the past month (probably less), I’ve applied to 15+ jobs in my small town and not gotten a single interview. My bank account has been below $10 for the past week and I’ve been relying on my partner to pay for my gas. I guess I’m just frustrated that I know I’m a good worker and content creator, and that I work for cheap but no one will hire or commission me, on top of getting scammed.
If there’s anything I can do to make sure this doesn’t happen again, please comment some steps I can take to keep myself from going through this again. I feel so stupid for falling for this.
TLDR; Scammer wanted my adult content, promised more than I asked for and didn’t give me anything whatsoever.
