This was forced on my team to be done by my BD. I work in AML. But, instead of CAMS this is forced onto us. So, I did not have appetite to spend lot of time on the material.
This is what I did: 1. I booked my exam on Monday 11/25 for today (11/30). Started preparing Wed afternoon.
- I read first 2 chapters from the book and concluded I can read them all and will run out of time.
- Watched SIE in 60 min video from Series7Guru. And planned on topics I needed to learn.
- Used Explicated podcasts frm S7guru to get familiarized with all topics. Took exam on FInRA website and got 52. Noted all areas I needed work on.
- Thu-Fri - Did quick learning of all "needed work" areas from youtube videos. Used ChatGpT to help develop key summaries for review....and started organizing them by topics on OneNote. Took test Thu evening STC Greenlite 1. Got 62. Noted all areas I needed work on. And repeaded working topics using ChatGPTs help. Took one more test Friday evening got 68. Did more specific question on topics i was weak on. ChatGPt is fantastic....help develop quick and very relavant summaries. For example: I asked GPT to create summarybof all %s I need to remember across SIE exam....and it neatly and simply put it together.
Was very happy to see PASS on the screen!!!
Thanks again all here....Thanksgiving 2024 is a great memory for me!

2024.12.01 02:29 AssistJumpy7516 Bios update en TPM 2.0 problem Vivobook S16
Hi guys, i have the vivobook s16 M5606WA with the ai 9 hx370 cpu. I noticed that win11 can not locate the TPM 2.0 even though it is enabled in the Bios. I tried the 40 sec power button hold and didnt help. I reset the laptop with a fresh cloud install of win 11 but also no help. I see bios is 301 and the asus support gave me ver. 307 to install. Tried to install via windows and it requires a restart. Tried doing ver. 308 via the myasus app also needs a restart. Now the big issue is every time i run this install or update when i press restart my laptop shutdown and boots up but then gets stuck with an AMI bios logo. No writings no numbers only the logo. Then i have to press the power button to shut down the laptop and press it again to startup. Starts up fine no bios logo freeze. But then the myasus app says update firmware didn’t go through and also via the windows installer also didn’t go through but in device manager i do see exclamation mark at the device firmware. No the last option inhave is updating bios via ez flash but have download and put the file on a usb stick format ntfs exfat and even fat32, but the bios doesn’t read the flash drive. And also the new bios layout for the m5606wa with the blue theme doesn’t show the ez flash option. It has an firmware update option but it doesn’t see the flash drive. Is there anything else i can try!?

Hello,
Here to sell myself like a bad infomercial. I am currently on short term leave from work so i am stranded at home. I live on the East Coast, but grew up in West Coast. I have two high energy dogs, an Australian shepherd mix and husky mix. When i use to have more free time I would taken them on hikes multiple times a week. I have a freshly turned 3 year old son/terrorist. I enjoy cooking and love to make new things but I fail everything that involves baking. My favorite show is the office please don't say parks and rec is better. I've had many random jobs in the past in different fields and story's to go along with. I'm a bit of a nerd, I have a comic collections, random collections of marvel/star wars things. I have what I call a nerd shelf and rotate my collectibles on, I am not ashamed. I have like random tattoos that have no meaning, I got my newest addition last month and even volunteered to be a test dummy for my brother to practice (relax he works in a tattoo shop). My music taste is mostly stuck in early 2000s punk, rock, and screamo but my playlist is all over the place. Just trying to make a friend outside of work. Thank you for coming to my TEDTalk.

Hey everyone!! So for the last 5 years I’ve been on and off in the gym, typically just because I am super active at my job (I walk about 6 miles a day on average at my job, roughly 15,000 steps) and a lot of times I just didn’t feel I needed it. Recently I’ve again decided to get back into the gym to get stronger in some areas, one of those being my legs. However, when I do certain kinds of leg exercises, such as lunges, split squats and single leg press, the pain flares in just my lower left. So, my first question is, has this happened to anyone else with these specific exercises?
Now, I’ve had minor flare ups before, but this one tonight was the worst. I couldn’t even finish my workout I was so scared to experience the piercing pain again. Now, I don’t know for sure if I have a herniated disk or sciatica. I mean, I know I have sciatica, that kinda pain is hard to categorize as anything else. But I don’t know if it is specifically from a herniated/bulging disk or not.
About 6 years ago was when the pain first showed up. I was in a roll over accident, and I was having neck and back pain/discomfort that would come and go. I would walk into the chiropractor and walk out good as new. My chiropractor back then did notice that my hips were a bit unbalanced, but I can’t remember if it was due to the accident or not. I have not gotten checked out by a doctor or anything for this pain since then, and the pain in doing these exercises is much worse than it was back then.
So I guess I’m wondering where I go from here. Should I see another chiropractor? Is there a better kind of doctor to go to? I did a whole lot less in the gym today than I typically do, yet it caused the most pain. I know it’s partly because this is one of the longest periods of time I’ve been out of the gym.
Do I try and strengthen my lower back muscles? Does foam rolling help? Do I do the exercises but just start super light (like I hardly feel like I’m doing anything kinda light is what doesn’t hurt) and slowly add weight? I just want to be able to do these leg exercises so I can strengthen them ): please let me know if you have any suggestions on where I should go from here, thank you

I'm looking to upgrade my PC but I am not a PC gamer. My partner is and we're honestly looking for something that allows her to play Fortnite.
Currently, the game runs on the lowest settings or else it won't be playable. It also takes a LOOOOONG time to load up. I have a Dell Inspiron 3655 PC and below are some of the settings. Hoping someone can point me in the direction of which graphics card or anything else I would be able to install.
Just looking to see what I would need to install in order for her to be able to play Fortnite on the highest settings with quick load times.

Just saw another post that included Joseph Ciancaglini Sr and it somehow brought me down the rabbit hole. I’m only posting this because it struck a long forgotten memory nothing else.
Joseph Ciancaglini, father of Michael and Joseph Jr. who became part of the Philly family in the late 80s or early 90s? They were on opposite sides because the family was split into two factions basically-Stanfa was picked to run the family by NY after Scarfo went to jail. And then you had Joey Merlino and the guys he grew up with who were loyal to him and didn’t recognize Stanfa as the new boss. I forget which one was in which side but the brothers were on opposite sides and at one point were trying to kill each other which is wild to me. Michael was shot and killed in a drive by and Merlino, who was with him, was shot in the buttocks and survived obviously. Then there was retribution for that hit when a team went to a little South Philly breakfast type restaurant early in the morning like 5:00 or when it was still dark and ran in before the place was open and a team shot Joey Jr. in front of a horrified waitress that was there doing opening side work. Joey survived but was permanently disabled from what I remember. I think also that Joseph Sr. was in jail during all of this and actually selected sides knowing that his other son would be killed. That is wild to even think of! Sr. got out of jail after doing multiple years and basically retired until he died a natural death which is a rarity in this life. I was a teenager living in South Philly during this time and what the news doesn’t say is that it was the talk of the neighborhoods, albeit everyone spoke in hushed tones. Never met Sr. but met a lot of the current guys from being a waiter in a deli that they all loved. Unless you knew who they were your have no idea because they acted like any other South Philly Italian guy-just the macho type and kinda loud but in reality harmless, except for them of course. Those who knew knew not to even interact with them. Obviously I had to and it didn’t faze me. My dad was born in Italy and came here when he was 17 and the guys that hung around where I used to live would love to talk to him in Italian and he was friendly and respectful but kept his distance and they respected that. Our landlord at the time was from Italy as well and come to find out later in life her son was a made guy under John Stanfa. I only knew him as the nice teenager who would actually talk to me when I was a dorky kid around 8 years old. Occasionally I’d see them if I was going to school or walking somewhere by myself and they always gave me the impression that they were looking out for me without saying it. In fact one time I had a bully in grade school because I was a skinny Italian kid who was very smart and considered a “nerd” and the bully would just talk shit until one time I got fed up and stood up for myself. Now, back then in the early 80s it was “after school” to fight. And I wasn’t really about that back then lol. I left school by the front instead of the back yard and shamefully tried to avoid the fight. He and a couple of his friends caught up to me when I was almost home and started talking shit. The guys hear this and I didn’t realize that they were all standing behind me but did when the kids facing me all had a look of horror lol. They said what’s going on here blah blah and they knew the kids parents and said leave him alone and get out of here. They ran lol. I learned later that that day the crew went to the kids’ houses-about 3 of them and talked to the parents and basically said for their kids to leave me alone because I was a good kid and that there was 3 of them and 1 of me and didn’t like that. They said that they would “appreciate” that their kids showed me the respect I deserve and they don’t want to see anything else happen. After that, I was the kid everybody in school was nice to. I never tried to use any of that as a way to be mean or say don’t fuck with me. I wasn’t like that. But damn it did feel good to be treated better. It’s weird, you hear about these guys and I am in no way glamorizing them, but it does sound cliche but it really was safer in the neighborhood with those type of guys around.

 | I had serious reservations about buying this Cobra yesterday at the Grapevine Citadel (I was up until 3am painting). When I went to pick it up, it was clear that the tank had been previously purchased and returned. Someone had already cut bits off of the resin sprue, but worse, it seems like the previous purchaser had dropped or otherwise whacked the main chassis. Look at the tip that's been broken! It was also missing the plastic turret weapons sprue. Normally, I'd refuse to buy this tank. But, the Cobra is no longer listed on the website. This may well be the final Cobra sold in North America! It's not like I can order a fresh one. I asked Caleb if he'd grant me a scratch and dent discount, but he replied that their computer system doesn't allow employees to do that. Darn! I asked if they'd replace the missing weapons sprue and they did, no problem. It's the same sprue that ships with the Wave Serpent. I was waffling, carrying the box, walking around the store, trying to decide whether to buy it. I asked the manager if I found any missing resin parts while modeling, could I return it for a full refund. He said yes. So, I took a leap! I'm glad I did! I think it turned out well, and was ready for the big event today.
