As probably many of you have experienced on this platform and this place specifically.
Getting ghosted, getting creeped on or just straight down stalked. I'm writing this on a freshly made ALT after dealing with the mentioned above. People who straight down can't respect you for being in a relationship or missunderstands friendliness or that you have a life outside of the gaming / social world.
And this is coming from me who RARELY ever use reddit to begin with. so I can't imagine what the ones who use it on a daily basis have to deal with.
Have you hade any luck finding someone genuine on here? someone who will put effort into trying to keep conversations going without you carrying them on your shoulders?
I understand there is tons of you out there that have duties/chores/life outside of social and gaming. and a lot of you that can be shy and socially insecure etc, but you are here for the same reason as most of us, to try and finding a gamerpal / gamerpals.
I also understand not everyone matches on the first sight, but atleast give it a couple of days, and be yourself to find the genuine long-term stuff that you're looking for so dearly.
Also for all the people seeking romance/partner through this place, atleast mention that on the beforehand or try a different reddit forum. I doubt more than 50% of everyone here are seeking a partner, but just someone they can spend time with and have fun and relax.
If you feel like this post hit close to home, lets chat about it, share your own experinces
Cheers for whoever read through the whole thing, i've seen similar posts, but I feel like most of them dont get the attention that they fully need or taken seriously.

I am completing chemo in the next month after six months of treatment. I am not comfortable going to salons for reasons of hygiene. I cannot do actives yet in my skincare and my skin is fragile and quite dry as are my nails, hands and feet. I may have a paraffin tank and mitts somewhere. I have too many skin products to list here but will purchase masks you recommend and just bought dry brushing and gua sha paraphernalia. I generally do rosemary oil on my scalp, which does the trick as I've lost most of my hair. I appreciate your ideas and creativity because, after six months of this, I am all out.

I think the premise of this one was that the FL became a duchess through some type of arranged marriage, but the people of the duchy hate her, specifically the duke’s guards. I think there was an older guard who especially disliked her and was stubborn about it even while the other soldiers warmed up to her.
The specific part I remember is that she had to host some kind of traditional ceremony to commemorate fallen soldiers. It rains during the ceremony but she goes on with it which earned her some respect I think?
I’m less sure about this, but I think her husband was not at the ceremony. Like he was away for some reason?
The FL was a bit stoic and serious and I think she had light colored hair, blonde or white/silver?

I wanted to share something that’s been bothering me for a while now, and I think a lot of you might feel the same way. Red Dead Redemption 2 is, without a doubt, one of the greatest games ever made. It’s a masterpiece that so many of us have sunk hundreds (if not thousands) of hours into. The story, the world, the immersion—it’s unmatched. And yet, here we are in 2024, and there’s still no 60 FPS upgrade for Xbox or PlayStation.
Meanwhile, GTA V, which came out almost a decade before RDR2, got its shiny 60 FPS upgrade. Don’t get me wrong, I love GTA as much as the next guy, but why is one of Rockstar’s most beloved games left in the dust? It feels like a slap in the face to the loyal RDR2 community. Over 50 million copies sold, a still-active online player base, and a passionate fan community—yet no love from Rockstar.
If Rockstar can dedicate resources to keep GTA V alive and updated, why can’t they give RDR2 the attention it deserves? (I know the revnnue for GTA online is crazy, but still) The game is a work of art, and running it at 60 FPS would only enhance the experience for all of us who still love roaming around Arthur Morgan’s world.
This leads me to my question: Shouldn’t we, as a community, do something about this? What if we band together and start sending official letters or emails to Rockstar? If enough of us do this consistently over time, maybe we’ll get their attention. Even if we don’t get the upgrade immediately, perhaps we’ll at least get an official response. Maybe we can plant a seed in their heads that it’s time.
What do you all think? Would you be down to coordinate something like this? I truly believe that if enough voices come together, Rockstar might realize how important this is to their fans.
