I need advice on what I can do. I have a friend from China, who is working here in a vietnamese restaurant where the boss is a Vietnamese-Singaporean (new convert). The Boss has already opened 6 restaurants, and employs only foreigners. Most "local" are shadow workers.
Also, my friend had only 2 days off in 1 month. She had to work 12 hours a day, from 11am to 11pm. And the boss will deduct $100 dollars per mistake, like not greeting customers on time, and failing to pick up her call.
Now, her impression of Singapore is very bad, and thinks the reputation online is just a facade.
What can I do to help both my friend, and to prevent such abuses of system from destroying our country's reputation among foreigners?

Sorry if this seems like an ignorant question. I practice in NY and most medicaid fees are dog shit, so nobody participates. Tens of thousands of potential patients that end up scraping together a few hundred for an extraction because it's cheaper than saving the tooth, getting shitty dentures they don't even use, etc etc.
How is the fee schedule established? Who's in charge of it?
And yeah I'm sure blah blah organized dentistry, e.g. ADA, NYSDA, county dental society....but I find it difficult to believe in them. In the fantasy scenario that I joined I'd want to get as much attention to this as possible....like why can't people get better "coverage" so that we can stay open, treat them, and make a living?
Sorry if my questions come off as naive or ignorant. If they do, it's because I'm both. I guess I'm still a bit idealistic in terms of what I think could be accomplished.
Appreciate if anyone can shed light on this

So what's the big difference between them?
Reading a lot on here, a lot of the "old heads" prefer the black.
It looks like both grey and black have the same coolant resistance (both mention coolant resistance), but black has "maximum oil resistance".
Black seems to be more flexible, and grey more ridged.
But just how chemically different is the black and grey RTV's, or is it just marketing "illusion of choice"?

The Civilian Permadeath challenge rules
  1. No selling weapon, ammo, grenades, mines and armor, they are regarded as highly regulated goods except:
a) sided with the Crimson Fleet (selling to The Key traders)
b) joined the Vanguard (selling to Lt. Gualter Azevedo)
  1. Can sell contraband if declared (need mod) or if sided with the Crimson Fleet
  2. Gui's Survival setting for gameplay (see picture)
  3. Only delivery (passangers or cargo) missions allowed until:
    a) joined either the Vanguard, Freestar Rangers or the Tracker alliance for bounty mission
    b) joined Constellation for survey mission
  4. Mods and Creations allowed (recommended for the contraband rule)
  5. Until joining either the Vanguard, the Freestar Rangers or the Tracker Alliance, only pistols and the cutter are allowed as weapons (melee weapons are excluded from this rule) except for Va'ruun weapons
If one has started the Crimsom Fleet questline by getting caught with contraband, one can start using something other than a pitols or the cutter after completing the Mission in The Lock.
  1. Va'ruun weapons and armors can only be used if:
a) one has the Serpent's Embrace perk
Or
b) one has become one of The Promised (DLC)
  1. Can loot ammo, armor and weapons for personnal use only, not for selling unless one has met the requirements to one of the rules
  2. You can loot ressources, aid items, miscellenous items (except contraband, unless meeting the requirememt of rules #2), books/notes and credits from enemies body, random storage box and dungeon chest
  3. No random/scanner bounty unless joined the Tracker Alliance
  4. Rules 2, 6, 7 and 10 are to not be followed when going through Unity if the requirements have been met in the previous Universe.
  5. Have fun!

2024.12.01 02:39 LegitimateCod1018 What should I do when something unexplainable happends or how to stop worrying about things outside of my control?

For Context: Yesterday I was scrolling pinterest and saw an image of ww2 solders reading a newspaper that reads "Hitler Alive". I remember this because I thought it was suppost to be something related to propaganda or something. Anyway, I went on there today and saw the same image but it reads Hitler dead. Apparently this image is very popular, and I havent seen it before seeing the "original" image. It doesnt appear in my activity either. This got me a little worked up, and i was thinking about fake memories and how they form. This is not the first time its happened, either. I get deja vu very often, but this was totally different, almost reversed if that makes sence. Alot of other weird things have happened too that i still cant get over (constanly anxious or not and checking if they were real)
I have in the past spiralled about things that are outside of my control, like the thought that we are simulated, fake conspiracies, etc, Including this time. I have been told by many people that I exhibit signs of ocd because of my constant obsession and checking with these topi, however I cant do anything about that atm.
What do you do when unexplainable events happen? Should you just accept it or ask why? idk what to do, so any advice would be awesome :))
